I don't understand why he gets so much slack. As far as I'm concerned he is the best artist in comics today. His Spawn work was mindblowing. Anyone like him and know what he's doing next?

Angel drew my story "Where Monsters Dine" in Common Grounds #5, for which we received an Eisner nomination for Best Short Story, and I was honored to work with him. I think he's fantastic, and whatever he's currently working on, I'll be buying it.

I really liked his work on Spawn, would love to have him back on the book to be honest.... I think he has just bounced around since those days.

Normally I would congrat you just for the fact that you got Angel to draw your story, but that really doesn't seem like a big deal when you can throw out the words "Eisner nomination" - BIG congrats on that.

Loved his Spawn work. Sure, he wasn't Greg Capullo, but people gave him crap when I LOVED his art work. There was only one issue I didn't like from him (that damn werewolf family issue), but everything else I enjoyed. Especially the issues that had Al fighting in Hell and my favorite Spawn panel will always be the panel where Al jumps out of Nyx's window in anger that Angel produced. So thumbs up.
