So if Marvel decided to say add one or more of the current X-Men in space, Havok Polaris, Warlock. and Rachel Summers, to the team roster of Guardians of the Galaxy would that all tempt you to try out the book? If so please post who it would take to join the cast for you to buy the new GOTG book.

GOTG is good enough with the Star Lord crew... If Havok or Polaris join, I hope its only to be mocked by Rocket for ten minutes before they're jettisoned into space for being hopelessly annoying. Rachel I could actually see fitting in and doing some good for the book... she's an upgrade from phyla-vell to be certain, and Mr. Quill needs a gal pal.

I'd totally buy it, as long as Rchel Summers was killed in the first arc or just not mentioned at all.

I'd actually be LESS likely to buy it if there were any X-Men in the title.

I just think it would be cool to not really have actual x-members, but say a character like Lilandra,or Korvus added to the roster. Kind of make them the new Star jammers plus the Shiar is a powerful empire and to have no presence in a book that is about protecting space I think is wasting potential stories. It would make Phyla a lot more interesting if say there was a Shiar member and she had some grudge still about what the Shiar did to the Kree people. Or they could do a juliet and juliet story where Phyla falls in love with a shiar woman and no one wants to accept it. lol

Maybe. I have no interest in the Cosmic Marvel.

I might buy it only because Rachel is in it, but it depends on how she's written and if Korvus is in it. If it's more Korvus & Rachel nausea inducing crap, I wouldn't be interested.

However, I would buy it if Emma Frost was killed in it. Or if Korvus died a violent death.

Korvus...::shudders::... only if Rocket or Groot gets to kill him.
I wouldn't mind seeing them go up against the Shi'ar or Vulcan... Nova vs. Vulcan would be pretty cool, as would Gamora vs. Deathbird

I've always said that the Starjammers could make a cool guest-appearance alongside Starlord and his people. Figure Havok is and his crew keep doing their pirate thing, end up on one side of an alien civil war; Starlord and the GotG on the other side.

I'd read it just for Rocket and Ch'od.

Guys with swords are cool. The whole tieing him into Phoenix and having him want Rachel are the nauseating parts.

this isn't a sword, its a giant blue anime-esque phallus.

Agreed, although I wouldn't mind seeing the GoG interact with the Shi'ar.

The GoG getting involved in rescuing Alex, Lorna and the others wouldn't be a bad idea. So, for an arc it would be fine. In the long-term, I want Rachel and the others back on Earth.

One of the best scenerios for resolving the Vulcan saga could be a rescue attempt that would allow Alex, Lorna and Rachel to return to Earth to regroup, and then in a while there could be a crossover event within the X-books when Vulcan tries to invade Earth.

Ch'od would definitely be a good addition to GoG. He has a lot of potential.

No. I prefer the X-Men to keep their feet on Earth, so to speak.

The covers are always hot and I like the interior art, and I want to get into it but am totally perplexed by the Marvel Cosmos.

I'm already getting GoTG but I wouldn't automatically be opposed to them adding an X-Character. It would depend on who and how.
