Flying Saucers Over Oz

Okay, everybody knows (ANYbody else?) Rosie O'Donnell recently published an arts and crafts book, CRAFTY U, with little projects parents can make with their kids. Hey, that's what she felt like doing, so...
Anyway, I'm a Rosie fan but not a crafts person, so I really had no intention of buying the book. Frankly, I have no need to know how to turn old odds and ends from the spare closet into an adorable Trick Or Treat costume for your grade schooler. But I did want to see the book and leaf through it, just to see what it was like.
First store I went to didn't have it. Second store had ONE copy, concealled way back in the 'Various Crafts' section, out of alphabetical order. I don't know how they overlooked the 'Beware Of The Leopard' sign. Anyway, I ended up buying it anyway, just to piss them off.
Nah, it's not a total loss. There's the cover, with Rosie in a frozen smile while her four kids pose around her, dutifully pretending to be engrossed in craft projects. Rosie's complained the photo of her is awful, and I gotta agree; she looks like she's running out of the castle to attack Doctor Van Helsing. And now, I know fun new things to do with pipe-cleaners that don't violate any public sanitation laws. Joy.
But that's just me being cranky. And, to be fair, Rosie did inspire me to buy a sketch pad and some crayons so I could doodle very bad Art Brut drawings in my spare time. So, did anyone who actually LIKES crafts buy this thing? Or would someone who likes crafts not really have much reason to be on this board?
