Check out Chapter Six (http://www.freewebs.com/pulpworkpress/freebies.htm) of Dillon and the Pirates of Xonira, where Dillon captains the weapons-laden submarine, Morgan Adams, toward Xonira in search of pirates and in preparation for a confrontation with his old buddy, and the current High Chancellor, Murphy C'jai.
However, the beautiful Toi Lahayne appears to have her own agenda, and she's brought along a team of highly-trained and heavily armed professional killers to back her up. If that weren't enough, there is at least one other traitor lurking among Dillon's crew of criminals and rogues.
All this for free at the Pulpwork Press website (http://www.freewebs.com/pulpworkpress/freebies.htm). While you are there check out some of the other titles released by Pulpwork (including four of mine) and pick up some reading material.
And if you've been enjoying Dillon and the Pirates of Xonira do pick up a copy of Dillon and the Voice of Odin, which is available on Amazon.com.

Yes, once again someone has been desperate enough to give me an opportunity to run off at the mouth. This time it's the online community newspaper BrooWaha. The interview can be found here: http://newyork.broowaha.com/article.php?id=3938 If you like it, thank them. If you don't, blame me.

How the west was Weird looks interesting.
Having had the advantage of reading a couple of the stories that are going to be in the anthology I can safely say that HOW THE WEST WAS WEIRD is going to to be very interesting. And then some. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry it's been a few weeks folks, but we're still trundling along on the path to self-discovery. Mostly, we're just lazy though.
Anyway, word is that Joel Jenkins' NUCLEAR SUITCASE is on the horizon for release, and if you'd be interested in writing a review of the book, please get in touch with us via e-mail or through the message board or forum or whatever that thing is.
Also on the good news front, we've gotten a first look at the cover to 2010's LOVE & BULLETS by Percival Constantine (who, while his name sounds like he should be writing paranormal romance novels and his author's photo suggests he should be writing decadent poetry, has instead crafted a butt-to-the-seat action-adventure thriller), as well as a bit of blurbage at our blog to tell us what it's all about...
And just as a reminder...our message board is up and running, so feel free to stop in and say hi or start a discussion on any of our fine titles!

Originally only available as a giveaway with purchase of How the West Was Weird, Vol. 2, the e-book CAMPFIRE TALES is now available at Amazon.com (for those of you with Kindles) and Smashwords.com (for those of you with any other kind of e-reader. This book includes 4 weird western short stories by Russ Anderson, Derrick Ferguson, Joel Jenkins, and Joshua M. Reynolds. For 99 cents, it's a steal!
Four astounding novellas combining the western with sci-fi and horror. This new addition to Pulpwork Press's best-selling HOW THE WEST WAS WEIRD series includes:
MR. BRASS AND THE CRIMSON SKIES OF KANSAS by Josh Reynolds. The robot Pinkerton is all that stands between President Teddy Roosevelt and an attack by sky pirates and Mr. Hyde.
HELL'S OWN by Russ Anderson. Zombies overrun a small western town, and the town's lone sheriff is the only one that's armed. Will anyone survive?
THE TALE OF THE BARON'S TRIBUTE by Derrick Ferguson. When a foe from Sebastian Red's past attacks him through his friends, Sebastian must undo the damage done to his loved ones and do battle with a foe who is, for once, in every way his equal.
GUNMEN OF THE HOLLOW EARTH by Joel Jenkins. Lone Crow, Doc Holliday, and Morgan Earp lead the surviving members of the Wild Bunch into a lost world at the center of the Earth, running afoul of dinosaurs, a tribe of barbarian women, and a posse of silver-hungry banditos who have followed them from the surface world.
So what are you waiting for? Get on over to Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/How-West-Was-Weird-ebook/dp/B006GYLKA8/ref=sr_1_3?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1322837028&sr=1-3) and get yourself a copy!
