Hawkman
Aquaman
To a lesser extent each title that didn't get ruined from OYL and on. A couple of years ago I had a plethora of titles. Today not so much.

Hmm, strangley most of my titles are already out. Er, DC has em as on goings again. Hmm, third chouses would be. Though Wicka can't write any of them.
1.Ok How about a Vertigo Rag Man?
2.Dc still has Judge Dread right? Why not bring back some of the british writers on it on the book. My Aunt brought me a TBS of him once from England war a bad juge was in charge and his second in comand was a gold fish. Judge fishe he called him. That would be great.
3.Vixen
4.Steel
5.Wild Cat
6. Artames. Have her come to earth in a Hero's for hire kind of comic.
7. Doom Patrol
8. Mary Marvel (NOw that she's all messed up. Why not?)
9. Show case Why not? New talent and stuff could be shown on it.
10. Secret Socity of Supervillans Why not give the villans there own modern comic?

Legionnaires -- the Legion works best when there is enough room to focus on multiple missions simultaneously, and the large cast requires more space to develop than one monthly title can provide. Rename it "Adventure Comics", however. Not using the classic name for the 2nd LSH book was a crime.
Manhunter -- Yay! For once, there is justice!
Shadowpact -- I'm really bummed that this one is getting canceled, since it's been such a fun read. Unlike other going-going-gone books (Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Checkmate, All-New Atom) the book's only gotten better over time.

I would like to say Young Justice, but there's no going back to there. Hmm, maybe they could take Arrowette and Empress and build the title back up slowly. But no, I don't think they could.
I am sorry that Peter David's Supergirl was canceled, but I also don't think it would make sense to bring it back. But I really hope that Linda Danvers comes back eventually and gets her place in the DC Universe.
The only title I really want back and think could get back is Batgirl. But only with a good writer. She needs a really good writer to work. If she doesn't get a good writer, don't give her a series.

I'd say Young Justice, but really what I'd rather see is Teen Titans stop sucking so much and incorporate some of those lost old characters like Empress and Arrowette.
Aquaman and Hawkman. And The Atom, though I'd settle for just seeing Ryan show up in other books after his gets canned. But Aquaman needs to be fixed, stat. The guy's been "dead" for a while and none of his friends give a !@#$? That's pretty ridiculous. And I have a feeling Hawkman's next, but that his "death" is gonna be a much bigger deal.

Gotham Central - it doesnt have to be Bru,Rucka,Lark. Anyone else that is good writers, artists could make very good.
Batgirl - Not with the caliber of Beechen type writer but a really good writer that can make her a hit.

Yeah as lomg as they get the right indy writers on it. Or dare I say it new ones. And Indy artists. Use it to even give new people a chance it could be great.
I'd like to see some combination of Geoff Johns, Alex Ross, Jerry Ordway etc do a big mini-series (maybe not a weekly like 52, but something extended past 12 issues) about the Justice Society based around WWII called 'the big one' or 'the war'. It could play off of Roy Thomas and Jerry Ordway's work in All Star Squadron and fill in the background history of the current DC universe during that time.

Plastic Man (2004-2006)
Kyle Baker's run was the perfect marriage of artist and character. It was a fun series with a distinctive style in a sea of grim, over-rendered super-hero books.
Solo (2004-2006)
Each issue was a collection of short stories, some featuring DC heroes, others not, drawn by a great artist. Tim Sale, Darwyn Cooke, Jordi Bernet, Sergio Aragones, and Michael Allred were amongst the masters who contributed issues.

L.E.G.I.O.N. They are about the only space series that has not gotten at least a mini in the last few years, and Vril Dox has appeared in most of the others. Time for a full on revivel to restablish the team in the DCU.

Not till the final crisis crossover has been settled and aftermath of that set in place , no point doing it now.
After final crisis , IF earth 2 is still set in place , they can do a mini series like the old America vs the JSA mini series which told a great story from the present point of view and yet provided a great history lesson of the JSA.

If I had to pick just a couple, they'd be kinda oddball...
Justice League Elite - Now THERE was a "Black Ops JL." How in the world I'm supposed to believe that Geo-Force could be involved in anything with the words "black-ops" in it is beyond me. Nah... you want questionable tactics? Bring in Vera Black and watch what happens.
'Mazing Man - I don't know where Bob Rozakis is, or what he's been doing, but we need 'Maze in this day and age. I bought the entire series on ebay about a year ago, and I was still blown away at how good it was. And I still maintain that the pages where 'Maze saves that kid in issue #1 are the best 3 pages in comics history. Those will make you cry, man. Why? Because once upon a time it was more about what makes a hero than what they did with it.

YJ is one of those situations where "you can't go home again" as the old saying goes. However, I would like to see them do something with some characters besides the "Big four" (Robin, Superboy, Impulse and Wonder Girl). For example, I continue to scratch my head over the fact that the whole "warder" concept hasn't become a bigger part of DC's mystical landscape. I guess Empress appearing in Supergirl in the near future is good for now.
I also wouldn't mind seeing returns for the android Hourman and Impulse.

Ooooooooh! Good one! I never paused once about buying any issue of that series. It didn't matter if I knew the artist or not, I knew I'd love it, and I did, every single issue. I could probably name a hundred artists for whom I would like to have seen an issue devoted.

This kicked much ass back in the day
The Heckler.
On earlier posts, I certainly agree with uncancelling the Atom.
I'm still annoyed that they destroyed a perfectly good, fun title when they merged Young Justice with the Teen Titans, and I just wish there was a way we could get back to that Peter David/Todd Nauck goodness.
Superboy by Kesel and Grummett (I'd really like to see that team get a good long run on the FF, by the way ....)
The Power Company.
How come, no matter how many times DC tries, they don't seem to be able to launch Aquaman into a lasting series?

I haven't had time to read this whole thread through, so forgive me if I repeat some titles that've already been mentioned...
Hourman- A great read every time out, one of those books that you just sort of scratch your head over and wonder why it couldn't find an audience.
Black Condor- One of Rags Morales' first assignments, and like Hourman, I couldn't understand why more people didn't pick it up.
Hawkman- One of my favorite characters, and one who has been mercilessly butchered the last twenty years. I had the opportunity to talk to Tim Truman this past weekend in Pittsburgh, and I told him that I absolutely loved Hawkworld, but hated how DC managed to use it as a springboard to mercilessly butcher the character into something completely unrecognizable. Blending Truman's version of the character into the Fox/Kubert mythos should not have been that difficult a task.

I'm probably in the minority, but I didn't like Darwyn Cooke's art on CW. To me, he drew Selina as a 50 year old matron for some reason. David Lopez drew a beautiful Selina.
Brubaker was nonpareil, if a little dependent on Slam Bradley.

I'll start out by waxing nostalgic for the Pre-COIE era . . .
"Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew" from the early 1980s.
"DC Comics Presents" -- a book that always featured Superman teaming up with someone else, and each issue was a complete story all by itself . . . just the thing for letting a kid gradually learn more about the lesser-known figures of the DCU without expecting him to cope with the confusion of having just bought "Part 6 of an 8-Part Epic!" as his first purchase of a DC comic in his entire life!
The original "Brave and the Bold" -- take the previous paragraph, replace "Superman" with "Batman," and you've got the general idea.
And on a more modern note, I see someone else already considered and rejected one of the ones that popped into my head:
I would like to say Young Justice, but there's no going back to there. Hmm, maybe they could take Arrowette and Empress and build the title back up slowly. But no, I don't think they could.
I'd be willing to see them shove most of the old gang back together in YJ and resume telling stories in approximately the same tone as before. If that meant erasing -- or at least tactfully ignoring -- a few dozen more recent stories from such things as Geoff Johns's version of "Teen Titans," then that's a price I'd be willing to pay. (Likewise: I almost never follow the "Flash" titles, so I only know by hearsay what's happened to Bart Allen lately, but whatever it is, if they undid most of it that wouldn't exactly break my heart since I haven't been reading about him lately anyway!)
Actually, you mentioned Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) later in that same post. I could live with that, although I had dropped her title a few years before it actually got cancelled. As you say, it would all depend upon who was writing it. (Heck, I'd be willing to do it myself! Isn't that noble and self-sacrificing of me?)

Yeah, I absolutely LOVE Cooke's art.
The Catwoman relaunch by Brubaker, Cooke, and then the (almost) equally awesome Cameron Stewart, has been the only time I have ever had any real affection for Selina.

and what was Vext?
Vext was a series by Keith Giffen starring a downsized deity, Vext, the god of ill fortune who got kicked out of the heavens (or whatever) due to lack of worshipers. He gets sent to Earth. His divine power doesn't mean that he can give other people bad luck. It means that he has bad luck.
It also featured an archaeologist that was trying to hunt down artifacts of lesser gods and whom had figured out that some had been exiled to earth. However, his path never crossed Vext's since the series got canned too quick. It was getting there since he was fixing to meet Vext's ex-wife, the goddess of relationships gone horribly wrong.
It's definitely on my list of books that I want back.
I also would like Young Justice, Impulse (depending on who writes him), Power Company and Peter David's Supergirl. It's difficult to bring them back as is, but they could be most of the way back. The biggest problem for YJ is simply a matter of tone. Resurrections are a piece of cake.

When the Legion reconstitute Bart Allen from that lightning rod, he's going to be put back into a 14 yo body and be IMPULSE once again! That's my dream! And after the experiences he's had trying to be an adult, he's gonna be more impulsive than EVAH! See? You can go home again!!
Also missed: I second the Chronos love. That was a great little series.
Guy Gardner: Warrior. I don't care what anybody else thinks, that was huge fun. I want Guy's Vuldarian powers to break back out again... imagine that combined with a power ring, even if it's only for a couple of story arcs! He'd be damn near uncontrollable!
Kyle Baker's Plastic Man.
The Ray was good, but got lost in its own self-convolutions eventually. Ignore the introduction of Ray's brother and his computer program coming to life and replacing his father, and get us back to fun stories of the "night boy" out in the world with more power than reasonably containable and get him back in the JLA.
