This issue completely blew #1 out of the water. Fantastic story, accompanied by eye-catching artwork.

I really enjoyed this issue, but I wish we'd seen the other members of the expansive cast that was introduced in #1.

I'm not sure the song lyrics really mesh with narrative. The technique worked better for me in the first issue, in part because the lyrics there didn't contain any howlingly bad couplets. I had a hard time getting past (I paraphrase, but I'm pretty sure the sore / adore rhyme is a direct quote), "Penetrated like an open sore / Now it's Johnny's time to adore." It's the kind of lyric that you might never notice if you're listening to someone sing the words, but it looks terrible in print.

That said, I like the characters and I like the story so far. Interesting that Sadie seems just as crazy in issue #2 as she did in #1, given the chronology.
