Pardon me, I did a search for the first few pages and didn't see a thread on this. Apologies if I have been mistaken.

I'm about 4 hours into it. My finance hates me at this point, but I was so excited when I saw the commercials to the game, that I had to have it. So anyone else playing this game?

I am enjoying it, but since I just got a DS, I haven't been playing it as much as I want to.

That's awesome! Astonishing. It's good to see I'm not the only one that is a uber nerd for FFVII.

Yeah, I need to buy my fianace a DS after playing this game(I sorta owe it to her). She's wanted one for a long time, but she's not what you consider a gamer.

Well update time.

I'm about 13 hours into it now, really enjoying Zack's story(though I haven't really been doing the story). I've been mostly leveling on the missions for what it seems like a couple of days. Not very far into the game, I just met Aerith at the church. I'm at level 29, My progress is 22%(not sure if that's the complete game or just missions, technically I haven't opened the book yet to find out, just enjoying it.) Completed alot of missions, though. I have been squeezing a few hours in each night. Not like I did with FFXII, I would go through weeks before I got the chance to get some game time in.

The Angeal, Genisis, Sephiroth, fight scene(10 minute cut scene) in the training room though was excellent.

Update time:

I got to play a few hours at work, yesterday. Got really enriched with the story. So I couldn't gradually put the game down.

20 hours into it now. Level 37, Progress 34 %.

Fought Genisis and Angeal, but really going into the story one could kinda expect that. Ran after Hollander, and I just got done making a flower cart for Aerith.

After meeting Cloud a few times I am beginning to wonder if somehow this game will somehow diminish his character as we know it,?from FFVII and FFVII Advent Children.

Nibelheim was the F#&%ing #&%*!

Wow, that did take me back 10 years ago.....

I actually died for the first time in the game, and it took me 3 times before I could resolve the conflict.

Update time:

I finished the game yesterday. 30 hours into it Level 46, 40 % of it completed. Visually the game was beautiful, as it had all the flashbacks from FFVII done realistic. Storywise I think that it could have been done just a little bit better. Basically I hacked/Slashed through everything. The only problem I had in the game was with Sephiroth and then Genisis at the end. I changed tactics at the end and just used magic on Genisis's two forms. One part that the visual's really enhanced was Zack's fight with Shinra's army at the end. Not a bad little game for the Psp, but something was missing from the story that I can't just place.....

well...i'm level 51, almost thru with the game, 48% in missions.

it's the missions that annoy me...it'd say that it's normal but those fiends throw Death spells...dammit!!!

CC is a great game, my main problem with it is they kinda warp some of the story, like how Zack met Aerith. Besides that, my only complaint is I wish it was a tad bit longer, story-wise.

I know how you feel about that. Those missions get insanely harder as you progress. I was checking the guides to see what the rewards are of finishing the harder missions...and man...they reward you handsomely. Now if only I could just get through them.
