All of the FF villans have been revived by some mystyrious dark force, and the world is living in fear. A band of random people have had enough of this and they go to fight the unbeatable odds before them. They need your help, or you may choose to betray them, or even just not get involved at all, its your choice.
Balefur was sitting down at the local town bar, drinking his shot of tequila. "God I hate that... what was his name... Garl'nd?" He spoke to no one inparticular. He just... passed out sorta from the countless amount of alcohol he had drank. Balefur was drinking because of his recent defeat at the Adder's lair.
Randon was also in the local town bar, but this was no ordinary bar. This was a child's bar! A magical place where they sell all type's of children's delight. Chocolate, soda, juice, candy and a bunch of other things I can name. Yes, they had it all, but Randon only wanted one thing right now. "I would like a rootbeer float, please." He said, handing the bartender two gil. "What kind of ice cream you want kid, strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla?" He asked, taking the two gil. "Vanilla of course, it's my favorite." Randon smiled. "Alright, one vanilla rootbeer float coming right up." He said, proceeding to make Randon's desired drink.
Samael walked through the desert towards a town. Her black armor reflecting the sun's rays, but she felt no heat. As the wind blew around her, her cape flew back with it. She walked forward, heading towards the next town. Things had been quiet, which was good, she didn't want any distractions. Samael had a mission, and she would accomplish it, no matter what.
It was then that the quake happened. Samael wasn't surprised, given the area, it was to be expected a monster would attack some time. Right on schedule, a giant sandworm shot up out of the ground.
Samael calmly drew her blade.

Samael walked through the desert towards a town. Her black armor reflecting the sun's rays, but she felt no heat. As the wind blew around her, her cape flew back with it. She walked forward, heading towards the next town. Things had been quiet, which was good, she didn't want any distractions. Samael had a mission, and she would accomplish it, no matter what.

Oh my god, I totaly spaced on my own thread? That's not like me. Anyway-
Seing as the sand worm had no eyes, it relyed solely on sonar as it herd the wind blow Samael's cape, making a soft but hearable whiping sound. The worm locked in on this and headed strait for Samael!

"Something you cannot kill me." Samael said as she charged it. As the sand worm rushed her, she dodged to the side and brought up her sword, slicing open the worm's side as it rushed past her.

The Sand Worm let out a high pitched screach in pain as the the blade made contact with it's segmented skin.

Blood spilling from the wound inflickted on it's side, the sand worm sprawled angrilly around, desparately trying to find it's enemy. Upon hearing Samael's voice, it arked high in the air, crashing and digging into the ground as it landed.

Randon was halfway through his drink, his ice cream had melted into his drink, so now it was vanilla rootbear soda. It had been about five minutes when Randon saw the big puff of sand about a mile outside of the village.
"It's a giant mushroom......... MABY IT'S FRIENDLY!?" A drunken man said, wabling outside of the bar. Randon mearly stared out the window the was on his right to look at the cloud, seing what was realy going on.

"Hey mister, whacha doin over dehr?" A small child asked Bane as he walked down the ally way.

It took a few seconds but the sand worm was almost back at the surface. There was small rumbling underneath Samael, the worm could hear everything on the surface that was going on at that moment from the loud wind that was whiping by, to the smallest sound of breathing.

Bursting through the ground and still bleading greatly from its open wound, the sand worm arked high into the air, its mouth agape hoping to swallow Samael whole. "This time, food is mine." I thought to itself, closing in on Samael.

She said and channeled her own life force along the blade, the dark energies surrounded it, corroded it, changing the life energies into black magic. She thrusted her sword forward and the energy flew off, blasting down the Sand Worm's body as it was torn apart.

Samael walked through the desert, interestingly she was heading in the directing of Randon.
Randon saw what appeared to be a person heading in his general direction and readied his sword as he came to a stop about twenty feet from this strange person.
"Are you friend or foe? What happned here?" Randon asked looking past Samael to the giant carcass that was once a sand worm.
"A moogle is.... um... something like... me," Bane siad.
So said the moogle with pitch black fur, yellows eyes and equally yellow pompom.
"Oh... Well, I can only see your eyes and cloth's mister. Say, do you have a- There you are!" The child was cut off by his mother, who on cue, picked him up and cradled him in her arms. "Don't you ever run off like that again, you hear me? What were you doing any way?" The mother asked her child. "I was talking to that guy over there!" The child said, pointing at Bain. "Honey, what have I told you about talking to strangers? Come on, lets go home." She said walking off with her child.

Randon looked a little surprised at Samael, he had enery seen anyone kill a sandworn on there own before. "She must have had help... No one can kill a sandworm singlehanded..." Randon thought to himself. "Are you traveling alone?" Randon asked with the slightest hint of suspision.

He in a flash of upward streaming light he disappeared, and in an flash of downward streaming light he reapeared somewhere near the sand worm's corpse.

The most ive taken on is a couple of wild horses and I barly made it back to town after that... But anyway, you still havent told me, are you friend or foe? For what purpose do you fight?" Randon asked, still a little untrusting of this new fighter.

With professional interest, Bane observed the dead sand worm.
"Good to know- What was that!?" Randon said as a flash of what appeared to be yellow light. Then, out of the light, came a dark furred, blue robed, yellow hat wearing, eye shining moogle. ((Sorry if that came out wrong))

Two guards were standing watch at the towns east gate. One of them spoted Samael and told the other to go check her out. The guard went down the dirt patch that made up the road to greet her. "Hello there." He said, as he neared her location.

The drunken fox-dog was right behind Samael, drooling from one side of his mouth, hands extended twards her. "You look *Hic* good enough to... eat!" He said, atempting to pounce on Samael.

His face landing in the dirt, Balefur took a small dirt nap. Then, standing and pulling his claymore he said, "A fiesty one eh... Look's like well just have to BREAK YOU!" He said lunging at her with his sword held to his side with two hands ready for a powerful swing.

Balefur haddent seen the postion Samael now stood in and colpletely missed due to her dodge and his drunkeness. He picked his blade up again and this time, jumping high into the air to cut her in half.

Samael waited for him to come back and dodged to the side. She then stabbed into his side. Her sword draining his life force and strengthening hers. It was a nice refreshment from the energy she used up killing the sand worm. She pulled the sword out and readied herself.

Balefur howled at the pain of the wound that was inflickted upon him. But then he reolized something, his strength was being drained! "Dark Magic!? Havent seen that used since the war between Swart Sixclaw and the Weasel Boss..." Balefur thought aloud, enough to where Samael could here. "Aw well, here I come!" Picking his sward up with a deal of dificulty. ((He's about at half strength... Right?))

"Only heard legends... Its said to have a great dark power hidden within it, or so ive herd. Ive never taken to much to the Dark Arts, but I sure know how to use them. Im more of a Red Magic user myself, but im only a novice in those arts." Balefur said, apparently releaved of his drunken state.

Bane studied the sand worm piece and cut it int three individual pieces. On each, he cast the lightest version of Thunder, Blizzard, and Fire he had, observing the effect on the flesh under the sand worm's hide.

Randon stood there also observing what Bane was doing. Though he dident understand what was going on, he was still interested. "Hey, whats going on? Whats your name and what are you doing?" He asked for the second time.

"I do not intend on dieing today. Though, if you intend on doing so, I will not continue. If you would, please forgive me for my rudeness before, maby I could make your acquaintence. That is, after you pay for my medical bill." Balefur said, holding his side, his sword hitting the ground with one eye shut because of the pain.

"Ah, thank you." He said, taking the hi-potion with gratitude. "Much better!" He said with a small and un noticable burp. "Now about your aquaintance?" He asked with a slight bow.

Randon stood there also observing what Bane was doing. Though he dident understand what was going on, he was still interested. "Hey, whats going on? Whats your name and what are you doing?" He asked for the second time.
Bane finally regarded Randon with squinting eyes, "I am testing my magic on the underflesh of the sandworm. I hypothesize that I can kill it more easily from the inside than the out."
