CBR's James Hunt was among those present last night as the London Institute of Contemporary Arts presented "Live at Kirby Plaza," a retrospective on Jack Kirby's career presented by a panel of renowned "Kirbyologists."

Well, thanks from me and Paul G, etc, for James's fine review. (No, my name's not really Jill. It's a David Bowie thing.)

It's possible we might put this presentation on elsewhere in the future. We didn't have time for a proper run-through so there were some little hiccups (which were only felt by me, I suppose), and we think it'd come off more smoothly second time round. Still, I think it worked extremely well under those unrehearsed circumstances.

I do regret that the Skype connection for the US guests was breaking up somewhat, especially when Mark spoke... I think/hope most of it came across okay.

It was a stressful but fun event to put on.

Sounds like a terrific celebration of Jack's work; perhaps you can bring it to the San Diego Comic-Con International some time, accompanied by some Kirby originals from us Kirby kollectors here in the States.
