It was in the Fantastic Four back in the 1980s, Reed was later put on trial for it, because he let Galactus live.

You can find this not only in the 4th John Byrne Visionary Trade, but also in the Trial of Galactus Trade.... the original occured in the issue with half Galactus/half Death on the cover, called Fragments... FF #257, I believe!:biggrin:

FF #242, I believe!#242 is the start of the whole "Trial of Galactus" storyline, but "Fragments" (and the answer to evilheroics' question) is FANTASTIC FOUR #257.
