Which DC hero's personality do you consider the coolest or your favorite? This doesn't mean which character you think has the nicest, most noble or most upright personality. This means which personality in general do you consider to be the coolest or your favorite.

This isn't limited to the DC multiverse. This includes every hero that is a DC property and also includes past and current characters.

List the reasons for your choice.

By hero I'm assuming you mean both males and females.

It's a tough call for me...

One of my favorites is Wonder Woman during Rucka's run. She was an incredible character at that point. Graceful and intelligent, but always a force to be reckoned with when someone got on her bad side. That point in her history stands out for me because it's not the battles I remember. It's the casual scenes. Scenes of her at the embassy, or out with her staff. When the character's most memorable scenes don't require a battle or a stand off with a villain to make them memorable that's a really engaging character.

However, For my #1 favorite personality in the DCU I've got to give the nod to Catwoman. I've always been engaged with her personality. Her wit, her charm, the feline sense of confidence. I just love her style. Surprisingly, I actually like her best in a series of Fanfics more than in any comic.
Chris Dee writes a series called Cat-Tales, which can be found at her website or on Fanfiction.net. It's a great series that really captures the feel of Catwoman to me, and expands upon the characters in ways that the canon in-continuity writers sometimes aren't given the liberty to.

Currently, I've got to say that its Starman/ Theres nothing better than a crazy legion member who likes Sloppy Joes.Only on Wensdays.

Guy Gardner.
Only downside is that he is a Michigan fan hardcore.

Hal Jordan he's probably the only DC hero that I would actually like to hang out with outside as a person.

OH yeah, hats off to Starman as well. Couldn't put him at the top of my list but man I love his bits! I'd read JSA just for the sake of his commentary!

I think Tim Drake seems pretty cool. I also like Stargirl's personality a lot, if we're bringing up JSA characters.

Kelly's early and mid run on Supergirl, Back then Kara was awesome. She was Edgie and modern, she had a few skeletons in her closet but she was still fun from time to time.

Power Girl during her JSA Classified special was incredibly fun.

... I don't think I liked any of the guys in the DC Universe, something about all of them just didn't gel with me. Sure I thought Superman was cool, Though I don't run out and buy up all his books.

I guess All Star Batman is pretty funny, also All Star Narrator.

Nightwing I'd say. he can get through just about anything in a positive way. Guy Gardner is pretty cool too.

I have to say Zatanna. She seems very responsible (despite some past actions) and also very stable mentally.

i like Batman/ Bruce Wayne personality the most. Complex, dark, haunted.
Also the most interesting character imo.

Green Arrow, he seems like the most personable hero. It would be fun having a few beers with him.

Wally West easily, specifically as written by Mark Waid in the '90s. Flawed but a cool, very likabe guy.

There are loads of other possibilities though and most of the time it does depend on the writer. Some of my other favourites:

Selina Kyle by Ed Brubaker
Zatanna by Grant Morrison
Kyle Rayner by Grant Morrison
Jaime Reyes
All the members of the JLI as written by Giffen and Demaittes
Linda Danvers
Bart Allen by Mark Waid and Peter David
Jack Knight
Tim Drake (in pretty much anything but the Teen Titans right now)
Dinah Lance by Gail Simone

I liked the pre-Crisis Mon-el quite a lot. He was patient, incredibly confident without arrogance, and a cool-headed, good leader.

agreed, and agreed. Also, oddly I find Jason Todd to be somewhat appealing as well (non-Countdown Jason Todd mind you). Would Todd qualify as an anti-hero?

Grace from the Outsiders is always colourful. Very enjoyable to read. I may not always agree/approve of her outbursts, but they are always entertaining. Such a forthright and passionate character is always interesting to read.

Nightwing for being real about things. He's just a down to earth guy while still being something extrodinary.

I like Starman's personality, I think he's a really cool character. Also, I love Jason Todd. Even though Black Mask is not a hero, he has one hell of a personality, especially in the Red Hood arc, he was frickin hilarious!!!
