Hi guys, I'm a GL fan and am currently reading the third volume, the one in which Kyle Rayner makes his first appearance.

I just finished it and it seems there is a story which has not been finished...

This story is about the Black Circle, ruled by Amon Sur son of Abin Sur and Kyle, having convinced a few ex-GL to help him decide to go undercover.

The 175th chapter go on with the "final battle" and Lianna killing Kyle and leaving him in the ship explosion. It ends with Terry Berg receiving the ring.

And in the 176th chapter, Kyle returns home on Earth as if nothing happened...

So, did I miss something? or is it just not finished? Thanks for the answers guys ^^

Amon Sur son of Abin Sur and Kyle,

:eek:

Gotta say THAT made me do a double take!

unfortunately I skipped quite a few issues in those years, so I'm not sure about that story.

That was Ben Raab's last issue, whose entire job was simply to kill time until Johns & Van Scriver were ready with Rebirth.As a result, very few of the plot threads left over from his run were ever resolved and few fans even wanted them to be because nobody was even reading the book at that point. Raab's story was followed up by one last storyarc by Ron Marz in which Kyle makes the incredibly stupid decision to hand over his ring to Major Force, the guy who'd murdered his girlfriend and stuffed her in a fridge because Force had just pretended to do the same thing to Kyle's mom. Yes, I know that makes no sense whatsoever.

yeah I read the major force part.

so basically this arc is not finished and there won't be any following.

ok ... at least now I know that ^^;

thanks ^^

No, DC generally doesn't follow up on dangling plot-threads from stories few people read and even fewer people liked.
