...what?
You tell us what your SINGLE favorite DCU book running right now is, and why! And don't pick my books, I already have a big enough head!
For me, right now?
There's no book I'm loving quite as much as Teen Titans: Year One. What a BLAST. GORGEOUS art, fun fun dialog and great pacing. I hope DC keeps Amy Wolfram, in fact, I hope they chain her to a word processor, because she is fantastic!
Loving a LOT of books right now, but this one came out of nowhere and really makes me woobie!

The second fav is Wildstorm so it doesn't quite count and thats Gen13.
Though I really really hope that the godly artist that is Chen gets a major DC book after Salvations Run is over.

Booster Gold, because it's funny, and action packed at the same time and it has a wonderful supporting cast full of quirky characters with a lot of heart and drive.

OK, Green Lantern is a great read at the moment with a universe stretching plot and solid characterization. The arts not too shabby either.

All Star Superman. I hadn't enjoyed the last couple of issues as much as the earlier ones, but damn, #10 was amazing.
I hear so many good things about Teen Titans: Year One, and the art looks so good. I had decided to wait until the trade for that one, but now I am getting impatient.

WONDER WOMAN.
The reasons are many, but a lot of it has to do with the energy and enthusiam evident in the work. The people working on the book seem to take Diana and her world very seriously. I'm looking very forward to the regular artist, Aaron Lopresti. Once he's on board, I think this comic could cement itself as the best DC has to offer.
Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's ACTION COMICS comes in a very close second. And if you were asking about MARVEL: J. Michael Straczynski and Oliver Coipel's THOR.

Can't limit it down to run, but the Superman titles are blowing everything away. Busiek has done an amazing job, Johns just constantly cranks out great stuff, and All-Star Superman is nothing short of amazing.

Hmm. This is a really tough question.
BEST ON-GOING:
Batman: Grant Morrison weaving a tale from the first panel on through lord knows when. So much is IN this book. Morrison has a great voice for Bruce, as well. But it's a dense book, a fascinating story, and has beautiful art by Tony Daniel.
BEST LIMITED SERIES:
Teen Titans: Year One: I'm going to go along with Gail. Great characterization and dialogue along with wonderful art really make this book special. It's just downright fun.
BEST SERIES OVERALL:
All Star Superman: Out of continuity? Sure. Who cares? There's not much to say about this Morrison/Quietly masterpiece that hasn't already been said. This is the sort of subtle, beautiful, emotional, thoughtful work of art that is unlikely to come around very often.

My favorite on-going has to be Mark Waid's The Brave and the Bold. It has such a wide canvas, and it is just so much fun! In those two aspects, it feels similar to the current Booster Gold (which I also love), although a bit less jokey. Of course George Perez's art was fantastic in the first ten issues, and Jerry Ordway has done a good job stepping in.

Mine can change from week to week too. There are the regulars that everyone loves (All-Star Superman) and the ones that are unlikely to get canceled (Booster Gold, at the moment; JSA, regularly) and even the tried and true praising (Jonah Hex), but I thought I'd chime in on a couple others.
Green Lantern Corps: More a science fiction book than a super hero one. The creative teams behind this one have done an amazing job of adding depth, new and involving characters, and multi-layered stories since the first issue. The art has almost always been amazing with Patrick Gleason on art. He's perfect for this book.
Blue Beetle: God, I hope swarms of people start buying this. I'd hate to see this one get canceled. Sales are low enough on this that it's likely on the bubble. I'm willing to bet it's going to stick around for a while though if the following promo picture for the new Batman: Brave and the Bold cartoon series coming to Cartoon Network in the fall is any indication.

It would have to be Wonder Woman because that's the only comic I'm getting from DC on a monthly basis.
No Marvel bias, though. I'm only getting Captain America on a monthly basis from them.
I have, however, ordered two trades of the new Blue Beetle, because I keep hearing so much good about it and because I loved the bits I've seen on scans daily. Also collecting Denny O'Neil's Question in trade and the All-New Atom in trade.
On the Marvel side, getting Iron Fist in trade (really amazing work in both writing and art) and getting Runaways in trade for the minions. The eldest two fight over the digests when they arrive.
So, one favorite DCU comic: Wonder Woman.
But I'm still reading some others in trade, as they come out. I just can't wait for WW and Cap. :)

Out of curiosity, which two trades? I ask the book was good for the first trade, but didn't really take off until second trade and onward, when John Rogers took on the solo writing chores. For one thing, I hated the lame super-powered gang in the first few issues. So happy when they faded away.

It's tough to choose between the two, because they're such amazing books, but I'm actually going to have to go with Blue Beetle over All-Star Superman.
Morrison and Quitely are an amazing team for that character, and they're writing some of the most fantastic Superman stories since Maggin, really heart-felt, emotional, whimsical stuff, with beautiful art that's both real and surreal. And to whatever end Morrison's working with his "twelve labors" and Superman's "death," I know it's going to be incredible.
But it only comes out a couple times a year! If, by some crazy miracle, it came out once a month, hell yeah it'd bury every other book DC publishes. But because it doesn't, I have to give it the silver medal next to Blue Beetle. Oh, man, is this book fucking incredible! It was a little shaky getting its legs when Giffen and Rogers were co-writing it, but once Rogers took the title on his own, it was absolutely amazing. Jaime's my favorite character right now, and one of the greatest characters in the past decade, since Waid and 'Ringo created Impulse.
The book's full of amazing action and really just perfect characterization between Jaime and his friends and family, who make that book. It wouldn't be half as awesome without his supporting characters. Every single one of them brings something to the story that just fits perfectly. Paco's his "shoulder devil," Brenda's his center of reality, Peacemaker inadvertently plays the balance between embracing the craziness of superheroics and grounding himself in responsibility, and his family offers their loving support in being a superhero, which isn't a very common thing.
And on top of the amazing writing, Rogers has had two fantastic artists on the book with him. Cully Hamner's beautiful, cartoonish art looked great on Jaime, and that costume is one of the best designs I've seen on a brand new character in years. I really miss his art on this book, but Albuquerque has really stepped up with his art since he took over. It's gritty in places, but it's got a nice Scott Kollins quality to it, where its ugliness plays well to the action and scenery. And this last arc, the end of the Reach storyline, was just fucking incredible.
I love this book, and it sucks seeing Rogers go for a while, but I'll keep buying this book if only to support it until he comes back to it, even if Pfeifer doesn't do a particularly great job (though I hope he does at least well).

I would say Blue Beetle, but with Rogers leaving that would be a bit of a leap of faith that it will stay that good.
I'll say Batman. I'm really enjoying everything Morrison's got going on there, even if it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Runners up would be Wonder Woman, all of Geoff Johns' books, and the two All-Star titles (in very, very different ways).

All-Star isn't DCU.
Anyway, my pick is definitely Blue Beetle. It's one of the very few books that try to be "Spider-Man for the new generation" that works, and it does so by making Jaime Reyes as different a person from Peter Parker as you can get and still have a superhero.

Yeah, that's exactly what Blue Beetle is. This decade's Spider-Man, just more comfortable with his family and friends knowing and sharing his secret.

I have no idea who'd populate it, 'cause I don't think there's really a 'next generation' of heroes beyond Tim and Cassie et al, but this sorta has a feel that would work well for a new Young Justice series......
But who'd be in it? Chris Kent? The West twins? Nah, it'll probably take a while before that would be a viable idea. Still. Nice fit.

Now this is a simple one to answer-
All-Star Superman
As I told someone, Morrison gets the right balance of genius and madman and spins out some of the most consistently entertaining stories I've read in a while. Quitely's art suffers form some inconsistencies, but he still delivers some pretty solid pages. I didn't think I'd have anything come close to issue five's greatness, but the recent one had me blown away.

Blue Beetle is the DC comic I've enjoyed the most since getting back into comics. It manages to neatly balance fun and seriousness without sacrificing quality. Shame that John Rogers is leaving the book but what a way to go. It's been a while since I've seen a modern superhero comic be so heroic without being cheesy or resorting to cheap grim and grittiness.

My favorites are Justice Society and The Brave & The Bold. Geoff Johns excels when he writes the JSA, and I think he is achieving his vision with the current series. TB&TB consistently puts out an old-school team-up book that is just plain FUN!
I wanted to like TT:Y1, but the writer went and committed the cardinal sin of playing up to the "Batgod" myth. I mean, seriously, rookie Robin takes down Wonder Woman with knock-out gas in one panel, but Batman plays the combined Titans for several pages? I read the original Antithesis story, and, so sorry, Batman's showing was NOWHERE near that slick!

ALL STAR SUPERMAN isn't really DCU, but it's DC's best book by a wide margin.
