In honor of the recent Legion mania and the upcoming series featuring them......I made this thread for people who always wanted to make their own legionnaire! Now the basics for this are,

Name: Zilent Mek

Codename: Poot!

Backstory: When the people of Bismoll developed the ability to consume and digest non-food items, a small handful were left with indigestion which lead to intense flatulence. So unbearable was this flatulence that the other Bismollis exiled them into space. They wandered to a nearby star and found a world they named Pepton. There they developed into a unique society from which Zilent Mek was ushered forth.

Powers: Like his Bismolli cousins, Poot! is able to consume and digest all manner of normally non-comestible matter. Unlike his cousins, he develops intense gas which manifests itself in one of two ways: 1)"Silent but Violent" ~ A noxious vapor which has been known to make Daxams light-headed, and 2)"Thunder Butt" ~ A raw concussive force which has dented solid inertron. Additionally he's capable of projectile vomiting a caustic spray with shrapnel.

While his powers are highly unusual, and more than a bit disgusting, his ability to "shock and awe" won his fellow Legionnaires over, and he was awarded full membership.

Backstory: From a waterworld
Powers: Swimming, talking to fish
Weakness: Cannot live outside water for more than an hour
Decision: REJECTED! Powers too limited to be of use in a big-league superhero team

Name: Par Kur
codename:Arachnid Lad
Backstory: Swallowed by a radioactive space spider
Powers: Proportional strength and abilities of a spider
Decision: REJECTED! Seemed a shoe-in until the Legion learned he had been married and covered it up with a deal with the devil.

Name: Varyn Malix of Jyraxia
codename: Rhythm
Backstory: Varyn is from a planet of four-armed feline humanoids, and was born with the rare ability to command sound. She originally tried out for the Legion hoping to use it as a stepping stone to fame as a musician.
Powers: Can manipulate sound waves to mimic noises, blank sound in an area, or fire devastating sonic blasts.
and her tryout! At her audition, she made fart noises come out of Brainy's butt. Surprisingly, this got her voted in... they ARE teenagers, after all. However, she's earned Brainy's hatred for life.

codename:Dray Aiden
Backstory:Dray was raised on the planet of Noteengam, where the planets inhabitants participated in games of skill to keep themselves sharp. Most were average marksman, but Dray was the best....and always had been. HE was a incredible shot , known to be able to split the hairs of a Rimborian tiger from 100 megameters away.
Powers:Dray has the combined powers of Hyeprcoordinated reflexes on a superhuman level allowing for superhuman aim and agility
At his tryout, he was accepted for his show of "William Tell in the 30th century" Where he fitred a laser three tiems through an apple.....in the same spot above Brainiac's head. He then proceeded to tag Ultraboy with a goo gun as he moved at Ultraspeed, impressing Jo Nah with his calm demeanor abotu the whole situation.

A blast from the past:

Name: Vincent Adius
Codename: Kid Kid
Backstory: A goatlike expatriate from the planet Ow'sli , Kid Kid has mastered the ability of quantum teleportation, which allows him to transport himself and a handful of others across interstellar distances by passing through a dimension he calls "the Woody Place". Not as valiant as some, but his powers give him wide acclaim.

(Note: Nobody is sure if the first Kid or the second is the "lad-equivalent". And he and Brainy are _definitely_ not a couple)
