For the Mad fans on this board, here is a neat little interactive feature from the New York Times highlighting some of those great Fold-Ins the magazine would include on the inside of its back cover. I used to love those things.

As a kid I used to like to try and figure them out without actually folding them.

Looking though my MAD collection I found that the first fold in was issue #86 from 1964. Whats even more interesting was that two issues later there was a diagonal fold in featuring the Beatles......
I guess it didn't go over too well, cuz they never did another one. Must have been something to do with folding problems for readers. Its alot easier to fold straight up and straight down.
