Yikes! I didn't know I won until just now.
Okay, this week's theme is
Odd Pairings.
It can be odd team-ups, unusual artists on a book, or whatever other way you want to interpret it.
Rules:
1. It must be from a published comic book. Trades and graphic novel covers are allowed.
2. One choice per participant.

I think that issue holds the record for the longest time an item has been in my collection without me looking at it, at least 15 years.
I can't even remember whether it sucked or not.

I know that everyone in the entire civilized world is familiar with this cover, but I can't think of anything better:

I'm still in with Lobo, bastich.

In my LCS I remember seeing some book where Lobo is teamed up with Supergirl. I'm too lazy to find out which comic that was, so here is Lobo and Batman.
Why does the deep dark recesses of my mind think that this comic ends with a date rape.
Of Archie.
</p>
this one kills me to no end. though, I guess it sadly fits in reality nowadays with all the school shootings.

...The Beatles?!!

I know this isn't really allowed but I just couldn't resist posting a few examples of the 'Fab' and 'Gear' goings on inside this comic...

Ray R. on account of how much I love that terrible book.
Though I have to give credit to Lone Ranger as a very, very close runner-up.

Now this contest ably demonstrates that anything can and does happen in the world of comics. It's all one big ball of weirdness. Punisher can hang with the gang at Riverdale, and Kubert's old weary blood and guts Sgt. Rock can kick into gear with... The Viking Prince?!
I vote Lone Ranger. I have that OAAW comic so I guess I'm biased, but believe me folks its an oddball!

GloryQuest

Yet another vote for Ray R.
and the final tally is:
Jessecuster3 2
benday-dot 2
Ray R. 9
Beast of Yucca Flats 1
DubipR 4
Ryan Day 1
Lone Ranger 1
Congrats to Ray R. for a rousing win.
