Hello all!
I read the Sinestro Corps War because I thought it might be important to FC or Countdown to FC. Then I stopped the GL series and kept reading Countdown to FC.
So anyways, with Countdown to FC sucking so much, and thankfully almost over, I'm wondering where to pick up from the end of SCW.... what version of GL should I read first, then after that, and so on, to catch up.
I'm not sure how many variations of the GL series there are, but if someone could maybe list like
- GL #XX
- GL2 #XX
- GL #XX+1
etc.
Thanks!

Do you want the single issues or a tpb? The entire arc was collected in the Sinestro Corps War Hardcover, and that's probably cheaper and easier to obtain than the singles.

Well I've already read the SCW. I'm looking for the singles that follow the SCW in the regular GL monthlies, so I can catch up and continue to read as a GL fan

Ok.
Green Lantern #26-#28 is one arc, and it deals directly with the fallout from the SCW, the creation of the Alpha Lanterns, and Laira's trial.
#29 just started a new arc about the "secret origin" of Abin Sur. I haven't read it yet personally, but I'm pretty sure it's a 3 issue arc.
I don't read Green Lantern Corps, but I do know there was a fill-in arc done that was not well-received at all.

I read GL and Rattlehead pretty much has the gist of it. You'll want to pick up right after SCW. The fallout is pretty important with the direction the Corps is taking and the lead in to Darkest Night.

Hmm... # 29 was almost entirely about Hal Jordan's pre-GL days, except one scene, so we'll see how much we get about Abin Sur throughout.
I don't read Green Lantern Corps, but I do know there was a fill-in arc done that was not well-received at all.
# 20 centered mostly on what Guy Gardner and Kyle Raynor were going to do after the war. Some scenes with Mongul. A scene where the Guardians realize they have lost track of many yellow rings.
# 21-22 are mostly about one of the Alpha Lanterns and her past and present connections.
These GLC issues weren't amazing, but I like the GL corner of things, and they add some flavor, so they were OK to me.
Next week's # 23 should pick up again from # 20.

Its a origin on Hal Jordon and i think is 6 parts.

Personally, I'm waiting for the origin story to end before I go ahead and add GL to my list.

Get Green Lantern from issue 26 up to 29(the most recent issue)
for Green Lantern Corps, issue 20 for sure and pick up 23 when it's out. 21-22 woul be optional, IMO.
