Sounds awesome, I'm a big Tori Amos fan and the art looks great already... Didn't catch any art from any of my favourite songs though.

Maybe I missed it in the article, but did they mention a release date (other than just in 2008)???

I liked the tour book for Boys for Pele, it had some nice bizarre imagery, especially the Jill Thompson one for Horses. I used to love the cryptic photography work by Cindy Palmano surrounding her first 3 releases , but this seems so down to earth, it's more like a song destructor for me. :/ Maybe the Mike Dringenberg one will be all weird? I refuse to read an adaptation of Gold Dust, I love that song. I guess wait and see.

LOL @ Meat&SexShop~

I put together the tour programme for both Under the Pink and Boys for Pele, so there's some of the same sensibilities at work there...

I am so looking forward to this. I've been a fan of Tori since Choirgirl Hotel, and a fan of comics about twice as long.

I really like the idea of this project, and the previews are all quite lovely.

I'm an artist on the project, and I hope it's OK to say that the book is slated to be released in time for San Diego Comic-con.

I'm definitely doing some of my best work on it, and I'm here to tell you that I've seen some of the other coming work, and believe me it's gonna be fantastic.

I guess wait and see.
Martin, I don't know how you can say this esp. since your fave artist, Mack is a part of this project? O.o

I guess it's wait and see, cause there are other good artists on this though.

Wrong thread, Martin. Get over it.

That said, not being a fan of Tori, I still plan on checking this out.

in his defense, tgb, I was kinda prompting that kind of response. I apologize to all for derailing this thread.

I know. It's more the gigantic image that we don't need.

Well, that and Martin. At least I don't need Martin... or... at least not his crusade to ruin Mack's career.

Nice! Great song. "Raise a glass, a toast, a toast in your honor, I hear you laugh..." :) heh, I know what you mean about the smilies. But yeah, I can't wait to see it.

Hope someone does "Precious Things." Fav song by her.

...I regard Image, much as I regard Marvel, with a sneer. Both still have the stink of the early 90s glut, but this just might redeem the former
