Hello Make Mine Mar-vell, I'm Blair in the Captain Marvel message board, I'm very happy to see you in this forum.
I'm agree with you, the mini is amazing, the story and the art are very beautiful, it's very very great to see Captain Mar-vell again, I really hope he is not a skrull, but I don't think he is a skrull, I can't wait to see Captain Marvel 5 and his role in Secret Invasion.

This is my favorite comic right now, with Annihilation, Nova, and Thor right behind.
After seeing previews for number 5, and the first issue of Secret Invasion, it looks like Captain Marvel is going to play a gigantic role in the Marvel Universe for the upcoming months.
Great to see you here, MMM. Hope you check out some of the other forums.

He could be a @%#!in Skrull.
Bingo!

He could be a @%#!in Skrull.
I don't think that makes this title any less better. In fact, if he was that makes this title so much more rewarding, imo.
I picked up CM#4 due to it's SI tie-in. When I got home and read it, I raced back to my comic store (plug: Isotope!), and I picked up 1, 2 and 3. I would say it's one of the best minis I've read in years. It's something I know I'll love years later like Thanos Quest.

You ever read The Return? Or most of the non-Starlin stuff? Hell, even the Starlin stuff, if you're not into 70s cosmic wackiness.
That said, I really like the book. It's way, way better than it had any right to be. Brian Reed really pulled off a longshot with it.
That said, a lousy last issue could ruin it. But I think I'd blame that more on editorially mandated sadness than Reed. He took what could have been a giant turd and shined it up into a gemstone.

I try to think of the character, not those wretched things.

All those things are the character. I pretty much mentioned every CM story ever.

It's been a great mini so-far. I'm interested to see where it ends up, and what will befall the Great Mar-Vell.

He could be a @%#!in Skrull.
I don't think that there is any question that he is....
Look at the cliffhanger of the end of issue #3.

And I loved everything you mentioned.
I'm a big fan of Captain Marvel. He's my favorite Marvel superhero of all time. If he ends up being a skrull, which I doubt, I will be very unhappy.

The cliffhanger to number 3 is just way too obvious, which is why I don't think he is a skrull. Marvel wants you to think he's one.

I think he's been programmed to be triggered, but he's going to thwart it, OR, he's going to be in the Negative Zone when the trigger occurs ("He Loves You") and so, will fail to be triggered. CM's fascination with the picture of Alexander entering the conquered land will for the basis of the proof... or else, was expected to be the trigger...OR, it is his subconscious that is trying to tell him that an invasion is going on, and that the skrulls are already here!

Excellent job, Kirk, but you're scaring me, and I hope you're wrong. ;)
What I think is that there are 2 Captain Marvels running around right now. The real one pulled forward through time, and a skrull one. The original pulled forward through time is going to throw a wrench into the skrulls plans.

Already bought issue #1-4. And I totally loved this mini. The story was good and the art was also great. I'm really hoping Mar-Vell isn't a skrull. But things are pointing towards it. Can't wait for the final issue!

It's not like the guy was ever human in the first place, what he needs is a new body that is cancer free.
