Anyone agree? I mean, let's be real here, don't you hate those full page ads that interrupt you when you're engrossed in the drama of Tony Starke and then "BOOM" get interrupted.

I know I do, so here's what I had to say about that!

I've seen other people on here moaning about the adverts in comics but I have to be honest and say that they don't bother me in the slightest.

In fact, in the old back issues I buy, I actually quite like looking at the commercials because they give you a real indication of the times when the comic was initially published and can be quite fascinating in their own right.

As for modern comics...nah, I can't say that they bother me or spoil my reading pleasure at all.

Besides, if Marvel removed all the commercials, wouldn't the price of their comics have to go up? Marvel would need to recoup the revenue lost from advertising somehow and an increase in cover prices would be the most obvious place to start.

Just read the comics, let the brutal hatred for the ads fester over time then buy the trade.

Just wait for the trade if you don't want ads. It's the only way Marvel can keep costs down.

That's how I feel too when I go back and read older books. Seeing all the old commercials is pretty neat.

But yea, if you don't like them, pick the books you want up in trades.
