Team Elite's Strategy:
1) Everyone has no trouble getting out from their ball (Nefaria in one punch, Ghost Rider in one punch, Black Panther in one punch, Reed bulks up to brick size if need be, Iron Fist uses the Iron Fist if need be), apart from Mr. Fear (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mister_Fear#Powers_and_abilities), who will fill his own ball with fear gas to be propelled at the opposing team at the bell by Reed, who uses his body as a catapult, smashing the ball and unleashing the gas on my opponents. This should trigger a fear reaction in all but Doom, distracting them all for at least a few moments, at which point Fear gets up and dishes out any damage he can before going down.
2) Nefaria (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Count_Nefaria) heads towards Prodigy at speeds the strong man can't handle and unleashes a barrage of superstrength punches and optic blasts (http://www.leaderslair.com/ionicpeople/nefarius.jpg)which put his vastly inferior opponent down quickly.
3) At the same time, Ghost Rider (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Rider_%28comics%29)heads straight for Dr. Doom. The Rider has recently overcome the magic of Dr. Strange, proving his dominance over magic users, so this shouldn't be too difficult for him as he beats on him with punches and hellfire before issuing the Penance Stare to out him from the game. Nefaria provides backup with optic blasts (http://www.leaderslair.com/ionicpeople/nefarius.jpg) and punches with strength superior to Thor (http://www.leaderslair.com/ionicpeople/nefaria3.jpg)to ensure Doom is out early.
4) Iron Fist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Fist_%28comics%29) combats Plantman, already disorientated from the Fear gas, and outspeeds him and outfights him with vastly superior hand-to-hand skills until the Iron Fist itself is unleashed, downing the Plantman.
5) Black Panther (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Panther_%28comics%29) combats Rocket Racoon, who should also be disorientated from the fear gas and simply can't hurt a man in a vibranium weave suit who is much more adept at hand-to-hand, and isn't fast enough to do so anyway and gets knocked down and out fairly quickly.
6) Reed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reed_Richards) wraps himself around Black Knight's body (who should also be suffering ill-effects from the early gas attack) and only leaves his head exposed. Reed then concentrates as much of his body's matter into one fist and pounds away at the Knight's head until he's knocked out.
7) If Reed doesn't succeed quickly enough, Ghost Rider strolls up to Black Knight's exposed face and issues the Penance stare, outing the last man from the game.

Doom & His Prodigious Friends' Strategy:
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/1094/doomandhisprodigiousfrikk7.png
The team appears inside five separate pinballs. When the balls are launched, Doom casts a teleportation spell, freeing himself and his allies. Before them, they see their opponents, Team Elite, ready to fight.
Rocket Raccoon begins shooting with guns. Specifically, he targets Iron Fist and Mister Fear, as neither are bullet proof. Plantman unleashes vines from himself to bind Black Panther, and choke him into submission, and distract Count Nefaria. Prodigy will grab Black Knight and fly at the opposition. Doom uses a trick he's learned to send his consciousness to another person. He sends his mind into the body of Mister Fantastic.
Rocket will likely have hit Fear. He will turn his sights on distracting Iron Fist. He's pretty agile and resourceful (very notable given the location). He'll duck and dodge as best as he can, hoping to tire Iron Fist out (as prolonged use of his Iron Fist assuredly will).
Prodigy tosses Black Knight at Ghost Rider. The Ebony Blade absorbs any energy directed at it, including the thunderbolts of Zeus. Hellfire shouldn't be a problem. Admittedly, those are typically localized shots, but Dane's skilled enough to go one-on-one with Johnny.
Prodigy immediately heads off to fight Count Nefaria. Doom, as Mister Fantastic, attacks Nefaria as well, hoping to suffocate him. Prodigy has strength enough to stop trains, so his blows shouldn't just bounce off (though minimal they may be).
If Plantman is still active (as he may have been lost in his attempt to distract Nefaria), he will help Rocket with Iron Fist in the hopes of getting Iron Fist in the position to help take out Ghost Rider.
When Nefaria has sufficiently defeated Doom in the body of Richards, Doom will return to his own body and summon black magic. Even Nefaria is vulnerable to magic.
So, it's Doom vs. Nefaria, which Doom should win through a combination of magic and energy blasts. It's Rocket Raccoon and Black Knight (and maybe Plantman) vs. Iron Fist and Black Knight. Rocket and Dane are resourceful leader-types, with strategic minds and quick work. More importantly, Dane's sword should be able to hurt Iron Fist, as it can cut through almost anything. I have no doubt the two of them can, together, defeat their opponents.

KJS's strat of fear pellets and one on one battles seems more feasable than Joes with Doom easily taking over Reeds body. Even though shooting at Iron Fist and Fear from the start might work and turn the tables, but Iron Fist is low level bullet time isn't he? More info is needed before a vote is cast.

Grrr, I just realised those links aren't working again (the Count Nefaria images).
Just a reminder that all you need to do when they don't work is click in the address bar and hit enter.
No idea why, but just so you know.

I don't see Doom doing that at all easily.
Reed is notoriously strong mentally and, as I mentioned before, has this "elastic consciousness" which makes his mind and mentality as durable as his physical body. He would put up one hell of a resistance to such control.
If Doom manages to do it, it won't be instantly, and I think he'd have been beaten in combat by then.
Reed is the one person whose mind I wouldn't have tried to take over if I was the opposing team's "owner".

I agree that Reed is a bad choice for taking over. However, Doom is using mystic crap, and I am not sure how powerful we are making mysticism.
Regardless, I am leaning towards KJS. I'd like some more debate first, though.

I have another query...
Whilst Doom is supposed to be inside Reed's body, his own body will be completely motionless.
What is stopping Nefaria (for instance) from smashing his prone, vulnerable, motionless body to pieces?

Both very cool strategies, but I'm gonna have to go KJS this time around. On that note, vote with the Heralds of Buddy Christ today! Kevin Smith and George Carlin want you to. :p

Doom is set to be the next Sorcerer Supreme, is very useful I think Acro used him well.
lol I think I am like the only one who has a long list of spells that have been shown in Marvel Comics. AND I WILL NEVER GIVE IT UP! :p
