New World Order #3 is in stores today and contains a pretty big revelation about the behind-the-scenes workings of our economic system, something very relevant to our situation today it seems. There is also a great scene in a Masonic Lodge which I'm sure "fellow travelers" will enjoy. Let me know what you guys think.

Just finished it. Nicely done, nicely done. Personally, I would have done the masonic scene a little different and showed them to be all bad guys, hehe.

I see you touched upon the all capital letters argument...

Jekyll Island...as in the Creature from ;)

Thanks man. Yeah to conspiracy buffs the Fed stuff may be old news but I'm hoping to expose that whole aspect of the NWO to people who've never heard of such a thing. Considering how our economy is doing I think it's something everyone should be aware of.

As for the portrayal of Freemasonry, that's been formulated from my own experience in dealing with Masonry. Most of the Masonic Lodges are nothing but clubs for old men to gather and have pie and coffee with the esoteric traditions pushed aside. Where you get down to the real mysticism is in the higher realms of Masonry and the secret orders within the Order of Masonry itself. The Illuminati is a perfect example of such an Order.

Right, most of the blue lodges, I think they are referred to, are just a bunch of men who do not know the truth and who the true god of Masonry really is.

That sux Beastie. Appreciate all the support. My comic Re-Evolution is a finalist on Zudacomics this month too. Stop by and vote if you get a chance. The comic is about a revolutionary dog named Chehuahua trying to save the world.

i just bought #3 yesterday. I still haven't read #2 yet.

I think I'll take some time to read it from the beginning because I sort of forgot some of what happened in #1.

I have to say, I liked #1 much more than I did #s 2 & 3 ... but I'm pretty sure that's because of my own predilections rather than the quality of the respective issues per se. For some reason, Native American belief systems (as featured in #2) just don't happen to fall within the otherwise rather wide & deep range of esoteric subjects I'm interested in... & conspiracy theories about cabals of international bankers (#3) make me instinctively back away, probably because of my ultraleftist politics as much as anything (the lunatic right has pretty much made that scenario part & parcel of its world-view, of course) The subject of the Masons does nothing for me, either.

But like I said, that's just me, & I guarantee you that if this were an ongoing, nothing about #s 2 or 3 would give me even a moment's doubt about picking up the next ish ... or the next ... or the next. The same applies, of course, to any future iterations of the series.

I enjoyed the ending but it felt like an ongoing canceled not too far into the series. Glad to see it's already making a comeback! I'm stoked!

I saw this on Image's website.

It looks fascinating.

Admittdely, I'm a hardcore superhero comics guy, but I'm also a big fan of Jim Marrs, Alex Jones, Aaron Russo and their work, and even some of David Icke's stuff.

I Just finished Marrs' Terror Conspiracy.

Anyway, does anybody know if this is coming out in trade, or should I go looking for the backissues and try to jump onboard now?

Speaking of the intersection between conspiratology & comics, I just came across the following passage in a www.ufomystic.com report on a UFO convention --

He also talked about legendary comic book impressario Jack Kirby and his connections to the undergound of the U.S. military-industrial power structure. Kirby seemingly predicted the face on Mars controversy with a 1960s-era comic on the subject, and seemed to know about technological developments years before they were made public.

The presenter in question, by the way, is Kenn Thomas, who's a fairly big name in the conspiracy cottage industry. I originally knew his name because he was involved in a St Louis fanzine I used to get as a kid in the mid-'70s, Whizzard.

Interesting in that fellow communists identify each other that way as well (travellers). One in the same.

Interesting in that fellow communists identify each other that way as well (travellers).

Actually, the phrase is generally considered a pejorative, used by anticommunists to describe, basically, anyone to the left of Attila the Hun. It's sort of comparable to "Pinko" -- how many communists &/or leftists would call each other pinkos, except in the most ironic of tones?

One in the same.

Pet peeve time: The saying is "one and the same."

I'm frustrated that I could never find this series in any of my local comic book shops. That's what I get for not visiting on Wednesdays. I'll have to wait for the TPB. :frown:
