I was going to post that Bru confirmed the assassinated Steve Rogers had been a Skrull, but we all know I would never post any kind of spoiler...figured this was a bit less transparent.

You had me about ready to cry. I've already lost JMS off of Spidey and am soon going to lose Garth Ennis off of Punisher. I don't think I could handle losing my other favorite Marvel writer off a book.

Besides, plenty of people wouldn't click the link and would actually believe you. And then it'd be quoted all over the board and become engraved in public opinion and before you know it, Brubaker would HAVE to do it because, so far as the fans were concerned, it was already canon.
That's actually how Akuma, Ryu's backstory, and master Gouken came into existence in the Street Fighter series. It all started as an April Fool's joke that went horribly wrong.

I swore off all news sites and forums today for this exact purpose, but for a second I thought....What if this isn't an April Fool's Joke?
Nice one, Matt!

I don't know what that means.
So I probably should have.

You're on an internet message board quite often, and still don't know what a Rick Roll is?
Well, be glad for that, I guess.
