Greetings, Marvel Zombies! Welcome to the second week in this year's Marvel League, where teams compete against one another comparing who has devised the best strategy to beat the other!

A few rules:

No ring-outs.
Characters must fight in character.
You must have at least 100 posts to vote.

Everyone shatters their balls as soon as they're able. Due to the structure of the Robo Rabbit and Foom's size they should automatically break out of their balls.

1 White Rabbit opens fire, sending waves of carrot missiles from her Robo Rabbit and from her umbrella. These may or may not be fairly ineffective in harming the enemy however they will put our opponents off balance, preventing any sniper attacks from Dum Dum or Silver Sable and halting Fancy Dan's approach. If those three do not have any type of cover then it's possible this will incapacitate them for the moment.
2 Elsa Bloodstone uses her 'splode rifle and shoots Hellstorm in the face. With the combo of White Rabbit's carrot missiles and Elsa's 'splodo, Hellstorm should be unable to aim his hellfire accurately and quite possibly be taken out. The smoke from the 'splode will also obscure Thunderball's vision, preventing him from using his wrecking ball as a projectile.
3. Fin Fang Foom uses his caustic breath against the opposing side. He also uses his shifting ability to shrink down to a humanoid size so that he can maneuver in the pinball machine.
4. Nia Noble uses her telepathy to create a mindscape for Hercules in which he sees Sampson and Thunderball as Typhon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhon), greatest enemy of the Greek gods. As a consequence he will tear into Sampson and Thunderball in a desperate effort to take them out. As the dead ball slots will, in Hercules' mind, be thought of as Tartarus, Herc will hopefully try to take 'Typhon'(Samson and Thunderball} into the deadball slot so that they return to where they 'belong'. Despite Hercules being a god, he should be very susceptible to psychic manipulations when one considers his incredible impulsiveness, inability to consider consequences, recurring alcoholism and his recent bout when enraged by hydra poison in Incredible Hercules; his self control is not great even if his dedication is, so this move definitely works.
5. Honey Lemon reaches into her purse and removes two bottles of Pym Particle hairspray and gives them to Nia and Elsa.
6. Nia Noble uses her can of Pym Particle hairspray to shrink herself to tiny size, making her i) almost undetectable by the enemy and ii) compacting her super strong, fast and durable body into a tiny size with the same strength.
7. White Rabbit ceases fire.
8. Elsa Bloodstone uses her genie empowered lamp to teleport to the location where the badly wounded Hellstorm is and sprays him with hairspray, shrinking him down to the point that he is unable to cling to his trident. She then steps on him, making him go splat. Since she's super strong, the splat bit shouldn't be an issue.
9. Scorpion, in her bullet proof garb, runs through field toward Hercules or Samson if they are still on the field and uses her full sting. As she nearly killed Warbound Hulk with this [he would've have died had Amadeus not forced his anger to further escalate and empower him] then she should be able to pwn either of those, especially when they'd be exhausted from their battle with their other super strong team mates.
10. If Thunderball managed to somehow escape the pit of Tartarus, then Misty Knight will see to him. She’ll fire off a series of Cryo blasts at the Wrecking ball. These are designed to make the target much more fragile, allowing otherwise durable materials to be broken ( Heroes for Hire #7). With Thunderball’s Ball frozen and fragile, Thunderball wouldn’t dare attack with it, with fear of it smashing. This gives misty the change to charge Him, and smash his balls. . .er. Ball. It’s been destroyed before, Proof it’s not indestructible, and the combination of the cryoblast, Misty knight’s immense super-strength and the vibranium in her arm known to liquefy all metals should make short work of it. She then delivers a devastating “Bronx Buster” style sucker punch to Thunderball’s face. Although he’s durable, Misty’s arm has enough strength to squeeze a man’s head right off his shoulders, And separated from his ball, Thunderball falls.
11 Howard the Duck leaps to a pinball bumper and uses the rebound to hurl himself at Silver Sable. As he’s quite small, he’s streamlined, and hard to hit, which leads to one hard hit Silver sable. If the initial inmpact of Bumper duck doesn’t know out Sable, He’ll use his Quack Fu Mega-Kick Straigh to Sable’s pretty face, which WOULD knock her out, having no superhuman resistance.
12. Fin Fang Foom, with his flight powers, flies at speed towards Fancy Dan, and gives him a super powered tail spin to his face. He then Shifts to the maximum size he can (due to pinball machine restrictions) and proceeds to chomp down on Fancy Dan, resulting in one very dead homosexual Pointless Z-lister.
13 Agent Beefcake storms Toward Dumb Dumb Dugan, Virtually Unaffected by whatever bullets fired at him, due to him being robotic in nature. He then proceeds to rough up Dugan’s pretty little face. He then uses his superior knowledge of the Male erogenous zones to Fist DD’s G-spot into oblivion, Eliminating Dum Dum from the fight.
14. Noble takes on operation cleanup. She launches herself about the field using a combination of her super agility and super strength.. She still has the same strength she had as normal sized, but with a miniscule surface are, the effect would be cataclysmic, almost like a bullet, knocking out any stragglers who have evaded destruction.

Commander’s log: 3/30/08

It’s less then 24 hrs before our battle in that damn pinball machine. Moral seems
High, Herc boosts how man-made electricity tickles him. Since he is one of the few that can still stand after being stuck by both Zeus and Thor, I tend to believe him.

Battle plan:

The team were facing has one show stopper, a bunch of green horns, a LMD, and a duck that is in my cigar club.

The easiest plan is have Hellstom teleport them to the death slot, but after last week’s default I need to see what my team can do.

Top Pirority is Fin Fan Foom, a giant fire breathing lizard. Fortunately, I have experience with that kind of stuff with leading the Godzilla Squad. I always knew keeping those Pym particles that shank that irradiated iguana down to a size of dog would come in handy one day. Expose Fin to it and punt into the bumpers until he is medium rare.

If that’s not the case, there’s Herc. He also has experience dealing with monsters, both in accent time and Modern. Having witnessed him lifting up Godzilla, and Keeping Manhattan from becoming a suburb for Atlantis in the Aftersmash, I am sure he is truly suited for the job of stuffing that lizard into the death hole. Have Thunderball as a back up to smash up the ankles.

Daughter of AIM Scinentist Superme, and possibly, a pre-Hulk Banner.
With what ever kind of posions she has in her Arm, and SHEILD Armor suit, She puts the last two guys to shame. Fate has smiled on us though, She is still Green, and I don’t mean her hair. She has No Officail kills, and likes to show off her abs. Sable saw her picture and said she’ll tack care of her. Then we heard the sound of blades being sharpen. My Geuss Sable is gonna for the stomach and teach her why not to choice the midriff outfits.

After her is Bloodstone, another prodigy. She is the latest in a long line of near immortals, whatever the hell that means. Let’s see how well she fairs against one of lords of hell.

Well Foom's a shapeshifter, so shrinking him has no discernable effect.

I have 3 guys that can go Blow to blow with Hulk and Thor(herc samson and Thunderball), one of the best mercanaries in feild, one of the few non-power villians that have laid hands on both Spider-man and Daredevil in a stright up fight (fancy Dan) and one of the lords of Hell.

Herc in berskerer rage he can be reasily manipulated in thiking he in one of his labors and the mecha rabit Fin is one of the beasts he fought.
and as for smoke, that's why Kirby gave thermal imaging

We quite clearly didn't just coerce him into a rage, rather we gave him a scenario which he dare not question since Typhon is bad bananas. You also aren't manipulating Herc, we are ... so your arguments that he can be easily manipulated do nothing for you.

Also thermal imaging will help deal with the smoke obscuring Herc's vision but won't deal with the fire - intense and explosive fire for someone with thermal vision would be similar to hitting someone with Dazzler's light blasts.

That is entirely besides the point - he can punch missiles in the air as much as he likes, they still distract.

You also don't have him cover your team from fire, you just throw him at Foom so he doesn't go to take out the missiles anyway.

What makes you think Hellstorm has access to random weather spells? He's not in hell and he's not one of those versatile magic users. Also, in this confined space, the hurricane force winds would merely swirl the smoke around without moving it away, you'd still be blinded. Those hurricane force winds would also hit you guys with a hurricane too.

Finally, you don't use Hellstorm AT ALL so what he would or could do is utterly besides the point since he didn't.

You never mention him after that. And even if he DOES teleport, Herc is smashing his own team mates up ... it's a useless maneuver and it's doubtful that it'd be safe enough for Hellstorm to actually do the teleport. Also, from what I remember Hellstorm doesn't have the ability to teleport anymore.

1. Dugan reading reports for this battle situation is prep, doesn't count.
2. You didn't write Dugan doing that at all, so he doesn't do it.

The teleport doesn't happen because of the above stated reasons and so Honey Lemon gets to keep her purse. She's also not completely useless without her purse as she's something of a martial artist - after all everyone in MU asia has kung fu/ninja/yakuza links, :p - and isn't going to get taken down in one chop just because someone tries to tug on it.

So Silver Sable is able to aim for someone's stomach through smoke, while they're in a bullet proof costume and are a moving target? While they've just been injured by acid breath, explosions and carrot missiles?

Misty can melt adamantium, we're being cautious regarding Wrecker's capabilities by using the cry blasts as well as the metal melt but we don't NEED the cryo blasts to wreck the wrecking ball.

Thunderball has, at the very least, just been beaten up by a Greek God who ripped Clor apart. Herc might have been able to outright rip him in half and kill and most probably got him into the deadball zone. In that state a lemming could take him down, let alone blacktastic Misty with her super strong vibranium/adamantium/diamond arm thing.

Howard isn't THAT easy to take out and you don't write any defensive maneuvers whatsoever so she by rights doesn't even try to do this.

No he isn't, Herc is too busy fucking Samson and Thunderball up to deal with Foom.

He doesn't have the equipment on him to use the over ride codes. LMD mechanisms don't have the same placements as our organs and you don't write Dugan doing anything specific to Beefcake, so he doesn't take down Beefcake.

He'd have to aim pretty precisely considering Pym could weather explosions through shrinkage.

Too bad you don't have Hellstorm do either of those things, so it's beside the point as to whether he could ... and I don't think he could.

Congratulations to Flaneur & Josef F. for their victory over DeadXMan. Considering that Lex has been disqualified, Flaneur & Josef F. will (after next week) have three consecutive victories, and they now have a bye week, and won't fight again for three more weeks!
