My dad has this one. He collected comics from the 40s to the 80s, Hated what they did to the characters in the Crisis and never bought another one off the stands. He does buy back issues of the silver age on ebay on occassion.

I tried to show him the Dynamite Lone Ranger but its to glossy for him. His big part of collection was westerns but he liked Superman and Batman. However, he had a huge Captain Marvel run that was lost when we moved when I was a kid. He was less then pleased. My sister also lost her Archie collection in the same move. I believe the movers(if there was any since I was like 4 or 5 or something like that and don't really remember anything other than demanding my new room be Spider-man colors) may have struck bonanza...

I acutually have this issue it was a ghost duplicate of Batman created by the sinister Eddie Repp... Go figure :confused:

I see someone beat me to the dark knight scans. THere are quite a few more in there though.

Yeah Hal Jordan someone who could carry himself in a brawl i'm sure, against Batman, a guy whose life depends on not getting beaten in hand to hand. Bats would know at least five ways of avoiding such a telegraphed stiff right.

Its obvious that Batman took that punch deliberately, because he knew- ultimately- that in the situation the Lanterns were in, they needed the moral boosts of seeing their sort-of `leader' (or at least most senior Earth representative) `one-punch' `the Batman' (this would be especially hartening to Guy. Kyle would realise it was Batman playing Patsy though) and that this moral boost was more important than his own record.

But... the same could be said for ANY of these pictures. Batman's been so built up that there is no way ANYONE should be able to get a glove on him. However occasionally it happens.
