Hello this may not neccesarily belong here but I hope some body can help me. I just noticed that the sales person at my comic book store may have accidently put a price tag on the back of my comic. How do I get the price tag glue off without damaging my comic? Please and thank you. Any help would be apperciate.

1. don't press down on it, 2. hope they didn't put it on too hard 3. use a razor blade and see if it slowly peels off from one corner to the next 4. ask the comic store to please not do that b/c it ruins the comic for you and there is already a price on it (if Marvel)

this thing annoys me to no end, I have some old comics from various places and apparently way back when, they thought it was a good idea to mark them, with pen, right on the front cover. ugghhhh...

Hmmm, I don't know about a comic, but I know with DVDs to get the sticky off I use a strip of clear packaging tape. Just apply it over the area and peel it off. Usually only takes a few attempts to get it completely smooth again, but it might be too harsh a method for a comic book.

I wouldn't risk messing up the comic. Take it back to the shop and tell them you want one that doesn't have a tag on it. If they say no dice, then it's time to set up a pull somewhere else.

I used to work at my schools text book store where there would be stickers from other companys that we would have to remove, we would use a hair dryer or heat gun on the sticker, not too high tho because u could burn the book, but get it hot for a few seconds and then use a razor blade to remove it, u might wanna try removing stickers from something else first to get the hang of it if that comic is especially valuable, but its pretty easy to do once you get it down. hope that helps.
