Nr3dcast's Kwipette has a seizure

Last Monday Becky "Kwipette" Williams, wife of N3rdcast host Shaun "Kwip" Williams, had a seizure. Of all the horrible things to wake up to, this has to top the list (http://www.gamersforacure.org/?p=5).

Fortunately it seems that Kwipette has recovered from the ordeal. Still it must have been a nightmare to go through. :(

I had a seizure 2 years ago. I wish I could say that I remembered it as if it happened yesterday, but the truth is that, I don't remember it! There's a 30 minute block missing from my memory.

The hospital ran tonnes of checks on me. CT/brain scans, blood tests, EEGs, etc. Couldn't find anything, medically, that would induce a seizure.

The night prior to the seizure, I had less than 3 hours of sleep. Furthermore, I wasn't sleeping well -in general- back then, so I guess the lack of sleep just sort of caught up with me. My point is that anything can cause a seizure, and if you have one, it needn't mean anything sinister.

Haven't been bothered with them since. All the best to Kwip & co.
