Gentlemen:

Please, please PLEASE do not kill this new Wrath at the end of next issue. You two have turned in 3 fine issues here on this storyline establishing a replacement for a previously one-off character (who i wish hadn't died, but see why he did) who is absolutely a classic Bat-villain. A little crazy, a whole lot competent, and a terrific foil for either Bruce or Dick due to his origin and methods. The fact that this new Vigilante doofus is running around is proof that just about any concept can stick...it would be a damn shame if a concept/character like this, who is actually cool, didn't. There hasn't been a lasting addition to the Bat-rogues' gallery since basically Killer Croc (b/c i sure as hell don't count Hush); here's hoping you guys rectify that by allowing your replacement of Barr's creation to survive.

Thanks,
Chap22

as for spoilers:

another good fight between Bats and Wrath
Wrath tells Bats/us his (and his predecessor's) origin, which has one neat little twist/addition from the one told in the old Wrath's only appearance -- while Gordon did kill the original's parents during the commission of a burglary, it turns out Wrath's dad wasn't just a crook, but was also an off-duty dirty cop
some nice little Nightwing moments
gorgeous art
a look at the Wrathmobile

great stuff from Bedard & Rags. can't wait for next issue's conclusion.

Thanx, and although we know we did a good job, I guess Tony and I are a little disappointed that there aren't more people coming on board.

I guess that should be expected with a book not designed to be part of the current continuity with different creative teams.

Let's put it this way: I can't remember the last thing you've worked on that I DIDN'T like. Think that about sums it up.
