As of right now only gen13 and midnighter still exist and someone here said midnighter is cancelled with issue 20 which will be 3 more issues and I think gen13 is either going to be cancelled or going on hiatus. Authority and wildcats each had 1 or 2 issues and the writers never actually wrote anymore so they were cancelled. Phd was cancelled at twelve and I think the writer said here that there was going to be a stormwatch book with the powered members but I haven't heard anything about that in a long time.

Some of the series are coming back after Number of the Beast is done. I got the impression that they needed a short break to reorganize at WildStorm.

So, was it then, a matter of sales?? or not?? that's something I want to know, for example I know that PHD was very good, but, did it sell well??

Not terribly well, but comics have never been a meritocracy.

A shame, there were some good titles, but it seemed with the fiasco of Wildcats and The Authority, not to mention the departure of one of their well-selling titles, The Boys, WS were ice-skating uphill this time out.

It was a combination of several things. Sales were not all that good to start with, but they were not all that bad either. They didn't really promote to books that came out. Instead they focused on 52 and the related series. There was something right at the start, but it quickly fizzled out.

Then there was the failure to put out the two books that could bring some attention to the WildStorm book, namely Authority by Grant Morrison and Gene Ha and WildCats by Grant Morrison and Jim Lee.

Last but no least there was the Boys, which DC for some reason didn't like to publish. Didn't exactly strengthen the DC/WildStorm image as an innovative or daring company. Didn't help DC's falling market shares either, but I'm sure their competitors, especially Dynamite, aren't too sad about this.
