I just read Book 3 off the trades and it was excellent. Truly epic. I wish I had bought this instead of Civil War and Infinite Crisis.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll come up with more questions but whatever happened to those two elder beings who defeated Silver Surfer and Galactus.
Is Surfer still Galactus' herald?

Surfer destroyed them.
Yes, so is Stardust (he has two heralds).

When did Surfer destroy them? I'd be interested in reading that.

One of the Annihilation: Heralds of Galactus minis that came out post-Annihilation. I think his was the 2nd one and half the story was Surfer and the other half was Stardust.

The First was Terrax and Stardust, the second was Firelord and Silver Surfer. The latter is the one that resolved the Tenebrous and Aegis subplot. Both one-shots should be collected in the third trade.

Excellent. That's the last part of Book 3 I haven't read yet:D

Surfer destroyed them.
It seemed like Surfer re-channeled their energy and returned them to the cosmic essence that created them in the first place. I guess future books will touch on them, they were supposed to be beings that pre-dated even the original elders of the universe?
One of their brothers resembled a Watcher so one is to think this first entity created the Watcher race itself to stand vigil over all cosmos and streams of time.

I forget. I just remember he surfed some wave of energy to do it. I dunno whether they were before or after the elders but they were around when Galactus showed up at the beginnings of thing. I kind of doubt that anyone will pick them up again. The new cosmic books seem to be staying away from space god type stuff.

Which is sad. All the new story potential in all those Tenebrous and Aegis friends/family/foes is truly epic. I hope someone decides to do something with them and soon!

While I like Space God stuff, I hope (if they do bring it back) that they don't mix it into the current stuff they are doing. It tends to have a very warping effect on the environment, and suddenly everything gets swallowed in cosmic epics.

I know that this might be off topic and if i find a thread about it you can move it there.... But i was wondering.. Since most of the characters in the Annhiliation were part of the first Skrull attack. If Marvel has intendtions of putting the 2 stories together? If anyone has some in put on that I would love to know there thoughts Thanks for your time....-Master.

I don't know how the other like beings that were related to Tenebrous and Aegis died, but they were swept into the breach that created them. I think Marvel could find a way to bring them back, if need be.
