Hey Bat Lovers!
Need your help!
I would like to know, Which Graphic Novels out there (with Bats) were not comics before they made soft/hard cover?
Hope you can help me...
All the best!

The Killing Joke by Alan Moore and Brian Boland. The best of the bunch.

Well it was kind of a comic, it's just a one-shot. It's no bigger than a comic.

Morrison/McKean's 'Arkham Asylum' is one
Need this checked, but Batman & Dracula: Red Rain was initially released in its full length, right?
There's a bunch of elseworld stories which came out in the gn format but never as single issues.

It was a stand alone story at least.
Lemme think....
Mladen is correct - the entire Vampire Batman trilogy by Doug Moench and Kelley Jones were all released as graphic novels.
Off the top of my head:
Son of the Demon
Digital Justice (A future Batman)
Child of Dreams (don't know if this is in-continuity)
That's all I can remember. I know there's more. Espically if you include the Prestige Format titles, like "The Killing Joke" is.

Night Cries
Birth of the Demon
Ego
Catwoman: Selina's Big Score
The Joker: Devil's Advocate
Captain Jim

It all depends on your definition of "graphic novel". Do prestige books count as graphic novels? I'm not sure, but I have my doubts.

hhmmm....
what about:
Nine lives?
Fortunate son?
Death & the City?
Gotham by Gaslight?
Batman & the Mad monk?
Year 100?
Turning points?
Batmans daughter?
The Cult?
Absolution?
Are they pre-comics?

Nine Lives, Fortunate Son, and Absolution are original graphic novels.
Death and the City, Batman and the Mad Monk, Year 100, and Turning Points are collected editions.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Batman's Daughter" unless you mean The Huntress: Dark Knight Daughter, which is a collected edition.
