I just finished reading Batman #664-669 and #672-674.
I know I'm missing Batman and Son and the Prose story,but I'm too lazy to get them,and judging from summaries,the only real details from Batman and Son are the fact that Joker got shot in the face by an imposter Batman and Damian is Bat's kid.
Anyways,I read these issues straight and I was very surprised.
#664-666 - The Damien fast forward was so well done,I really wouldn't mind seeing him as Batman.He's badass and the outfit looks great.The idea of the 3 Batmen running around is so interesting,looking forward to more Anit-Batchrist in the current arc.
#667-669 - Very solid and mysterious 3 parter.Williams' art is so fitting here with the intricate panels and all.Loved all the characters introduced.Bring on the club of villains.
#672-674 - Such a trip.Batman is so vulnerable in these issues as he gets **********.I love how GM is really attacking and deconstructing Batman's psyche.Seeing Batman unable to figure out what's happening is something we don't see often and GM is really toying with that.
I'm adding this baby to my pull list,I love the direction GM is taking and the whole sense of Batman being threatened like never before.
