I'm really digging the new Youngblood. Joe Casey is getting the characters right and putting a new spin on them and Derek Donovan has great artwork. I get the feeling the plot is leading us down one road and then is going to take a big right turn.

Yep, it's been good fun so far. Casey is a genius and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us.
As an aside, your screen name reminds of the Headmasters pt. 1 episode of Transformers where the Autobot clones reply to orders with, "Roger Dodger, Optimus Prime." in unison. And.... end geek moment. :)

Are there any elements from the Alan Moore Youngblood launch from about 5 years ago? (There were only 2 issues I believe, but that's a pretty good run for a Youngblood title :p )
I just had a flash of Youngblood vol. 1 #6 (I think) by Liefeld, where Shaft has this daydream of insanely overeating haha. Man, that was so funny to me then.
And remember when Badrock was named "Bedrock." They changed the name due to Hanna Barbara claiming "cease and desist," and then acknowledged the complaint/name change for the same reason in the reality of the comic! HA, that was pretty clever.

Doc Rocket and Johnny Panic are on this new team's roster, and Big Brother just turned up in the second issue. They're definitely acknowledging the Moore/Skroce "run", if two and a half issues can constitute a run.

So when does issue #3 ship? I've enjoyed the new series thus far...but it seems to be taking its time in coming out.

Here is a Youngblood question. Now that Liefeld is back with Image does this mean that Youngblood are now back in the Image world with Spawn, Cyberforce, Witchblade, etc or is it just in it's own little world?

It's probably like Invincible or Savage Dragon. If someone wanted to use the characters in another Image book and it has Rob's okay they can appear and vice versa. But for the most part takes place in it's own little universe.
