View Full Version : Peter David - Mixing It Up With She-hulk & X-factor
Article at Newsarama (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=150738).
Sounds like X-Factor will still be doing their detective work.

Sounds good. Thanks for the link, frog.
Looks like I'll be picking up my first issue of She-Hulk for this.

You're welcome, and yes, I'll have to get She-Hulk too. I've sporadically followed it but don't have a subscription like I do for X-Factor.
Here's another article at Wizard (http://www.wizarduniverse.com/031808davis.html).
She-Hulk and Monet? :D

Yea the Monet vs. She-Hulk should be good.
I'm glad to hear that PAD will be writing the Layla Miller one-shot, I didn't know if that was confirmed or not. I wonder who will be drawing it!?!

So I'm reading X-Factor and to follow this little crossover I just need to pick up one issue of She-Hulk? (and maybe Secret Invasion)
Seems cool enough..

Same here I don't give a fig about She Hulk.

WTF!? I just dropped She-Hulk and said my goodbyes to it and now there's gonna be a crossover. :o That's just my luck, huh?
So X-Factor will be involved in Secret Invasion? That's...awkward. I wonder if that's a hint or if it's just going to be X-Factor going after skrulls.

I can pick up one extra comic :p This crossover sounds really neat.
She-Hulk and Jaz wind up colliding with X-Factor in the midst of a case. Basically She-Hulk and Jaz are pursuing one individual and X-Factor is pursuing the other. And since the two individuals are travelling together, it's natural for the two groups to run into each other, at which point hilarity ensues.
I love the hilarity ensues part best.

I keep trying She-Hulk but can't seem to stick with it. I guess I prefer her as a support character, same with Daredevil.
I think I'm gonna enjoy this crossover!

That's how I am with her. I enjoy her making guest appearances in books, but I can't find an appreciation of her in her own book..

Weird eh? I don't really like the lawyer thing. Also, I meant to say Silver Surfer, not Daredevil lol...although maybe that's the reason I have 3 months of Dardevil unread (along with countless other titles) haha

I haven't actually given She-Hulk a try, but I've always wanted to jump on I just always lacked the motivation. I will be all over it for the crossover issue and after that who knows...?

I'm getting to the point where I'm just reading X-Books now. I like reading other titles too though because we all know how the X-Universe always manages to tie into the rest of the universe.
This is another way that has managed to happen.

Very nice interviews. Thanks!
Prediction: Rahne is a Skrull. Granted, PAD always messes with fans in interviews, but he said one of X-Factor's cast might be revealed to be a skrull in a different book. And he couldnt say which book cus it would give it away. Well, which X-Factor character is appearing in a different book? Rahne in X-Force.
Anyhoo, Monet vs. She-Hulk should be interesting. I cant wait for the Layla Miller one-shot. But if she's not returning to X-Factor, I will be pissed! I will be pissed indeed!

Ooh, I didn't think of that. That would be very very interesting...and explain a whole heck of a lot. Her relationship with Josh, who was total jail bait was sort of a shocker for me.

Same here. I was trying to pare down my pull list so I could try some more varied stuff (more Vertigo/indie comics), and now this happens. Curse you, Marvel!

PAD always seems to get his books completely derailed by crossovers. Hmm.

While losing Rahne seemed a bit...abrupt, I think the developments with Layla and Madrox are giving the team more fuel to move forward.
Hopefully the SI tie-in will be similarly beneficial (plus I'm happy to expose my favorite book to more readers).

I didn't think about this, but Siryn may be a skrull..or the Madrox baby?

Well, there is that, I guess. I still think it's a bad idea to move Rahne to Claw-Force, mind you, but it has given the book a neat kick in the pants.

This is always a good thing, I agree.

I don't think Siryn is a Skrull (why would a Skrull go to a human church when nobody else of a heroic persuasion is around, after all?), but it would certainly do a number on Madrox if he found out he was the father of a half-Skrull baby.

Maybe Rictor is a skrull and we can find the REAL Rictor with his powers intact.

And let's keep the book in the top 30, now shall we???

He is the fishiest member of the team to me.
Of course, Jamie would also be a prime candidate for Skrull replacement. He could have a "dupe" roaming around that's actually a Skrull and he'd think nothing of it.

This is like the X-Book version of Spider-Girl fandom, isn't it? ;)

Yeah, with so many pieces of himself all over the place, Jamie could have a Skrull lurking around with his face on and nobody would be any the wiser...

Well I thought I read something saying that the skrulls didn't know they were skrulls or something and that they didn't feel anything out of the ordinary.

I'd love that as well, although I do not think its likely at all. He has always been one of my favorite characters with the coolest powers. Then again, I'm from Southern California: earthquake central ;)

It wasn't that big of a shocker was it?. They were only four years apart in age.

Ah, so they're sleeper agents, you mean? That would make more sense (although as we saw with the mighty Skrullverine back in the day, that can sometimes backfire. The guy sacrificed himself to save the X-Men from Horseman of Death Wolverine, thus derailing the Skrulls' plans somewhat).

Well Rahne was always the good religious girl and suddenly she's in a relationship with a student, and one who is underage. Yeah there were not that many years apart, but at the same time worlds apart. She was the last character I'd expect something like that from.
