View Full Version : Astonishing X-Men HC Vol. 02...?

I just saw the solicits for June's TPB of the final Astonishing X-Men TPB, including the Giant Size X-Men. But I haven't seen a solicit for a second volume hardcover (theoretically, it should collect issues 13-24 and the Giant Size). I much prefer the hardcovers of this series, and I have the first volume hardcover.

Has there been a solicit for the second hardcover at some point and I missed it? Are they releasing it after the TPB? Are they not releasing a second hardcover?

Well, the last issue shipped, and I (fairly) patiently waited for solicitations, to no avail. Still no evidence that there will ever be a second Astonishing X-Men hardcover.

Has anyone heard anything one way or the other? I'm really antsy for some kind of evidence that it will happen

The Morrison New X-Men omnibus surely had twice as many! Or does "insanity" = "awesome" in this sentance? :redface:

They often release hardcovers with a couple months after the last trade covered in it, so it'll probably get solicited a month or more after these solicits.

For instance, Ultimate Fantastic Four: Ghosts TPB comes out next month but the HC that covers up to it just got solicited.

Chapters/Indigo (Canada) has it listed for end of November. They usually get their HCs 1 month after the regular shipping date. That's what I'm going with....
