For me, she never exists anywhere except for in Grant Morrison's New X-Men Widescreen Annual. That's her entire life just right there and therefore, she is my favorite.

I voted for Longshot. When used right, hes a fun character. Unfortunately, the last couple of times he has appeared, he hasnt been used right, IMO. But the potential is still there.

Close one, but of course I'm going with Longshot- he's the most versatile of all those characters in terms of overall storytelling potential and adaptability to different genres. And his best story is better than any that most of the others have starred in. (Yes, yes, with the possible exception of Wanda, because there have been some really great Avengers stories, I know.)

Still, Roulette is a close second... such a fun, bitchy character who never should have been killed. I'd swap her for Beatrix any day of the week.

This is tough. I have a thing for probability manipulators so a good number of my favorites are on this list. *bites nails* But in the end I gotta go with the original: Scarlet Witch. Grant it, her powers have been mucked and F**ked with ad nauseum, but her original template - causing weird and dangerous things to happen to her opponents - is gold. Beyond her powers I really found her whole evolution from this insecure and somewhat co-dependent former Brotherhood to being and independent woman and leader of the Avengers very sympathetic. And what's not to love about having someone like Agatha Harkness for a mentor? I still dream that they'll retcon all the House of M madness, reboot her powers to their original conception, and have her join the x-men at last.
