Black Tom's mutant shillelagh powers are so wonderfully stupid I'm tempted to vote for him. Intstead I'm going to have to go with Siryn for not only managing to move beyond the kitsch of her culturally focused powers but, unlike her poor pop, she currently isn't dead.

GTFO!!

Total CUNT!

His mutant power of being Former Minister of Finance, fearing bank accounts and not knowing how to file tax is freakin' hilarious.

Paddy's day good craic so far?

They need to get Banshee to use the word craic when he comes back from the dead...or at least sound Irish(Not Dublin Irish though) and not sound like he speaks with a pseudo English/Scottish accent. People from Mayo Achille don't speak like that. Heck people from West Meade or Cork don't sound like that. I've been re-reading my Gen X issue and just remembered that I used to cringe every time I read Banshee's dialogue.
They should totally give Syrin a D4 accent and fake tan and make her dye her hair blonde.

And before you ask, I pride myself in not using those words in real life. But everyone else I know does...examples being: "How's the form", "I'm going to meet up with the rest of the lads" etc...

D4..UGH, i really doubt she is the type.

But yeah, They never say ''Mayo'' limbo. I dont think they have ever said ''whats the craic!!!'' either.

Oh, and i know cause im from Mayo.

And seing as craic is perhaps the most common word we use in Ireland, she should say it.

It's actually supposed to bestow charm on whoever kisses it. So most probably a mutant with the power to charm others with their words.

In a sense it still does but not in the annoying way. The real reason why people kiss it is if you are a complete nerd when it comes to talking to people and you kiss the stone you are bestowed with the ability to charm people with your words. It apparently grants eloquentness.

I think that Siryn has that ability now, doesn't she? The sound of her voice is supposed to be able to influence people to do what she wants.

Sean Cassidy is definitely my favorite Irish mutant, especially before his fall from grace in late GenX/Post-Generation X.

He was such a caring, wise mentor. He wasn't a perfect human being, not by a long shot, but he always tried to do his best by his charges. And at least he went out like a hero, though his (and all the people's in that plane) death is still such a travesty.

Happy St. Paddy's and the day after, hehe.

Wow. Clearly the Cassidy family is the winner 44-44

I love Sean... Anyone can put an Scan with him in by Bachalo in his classic Boston Celtics Jacket? That issue when Emma made him go out the aeroplane...

But now that he is gone, my love goes to his beloved daughter...

I had to google craic. You learn something new everyday. I'm having trouble imagining a word that sounds like "crack" to indicate fun times and not something drug related.

As much as I liked Banshee in Gen X, I love Siryn in X-Factor.

Black Tom....because he's got the stupidest power ever. Channels his energy through a shillelagh? Really? It's just a bloody stick people!!

edit: and Siryn is totally D4.

Also we're forgetting Pete Wisdom's Northern Irish lover from Wisdom - the only Northern Irish mutant I think, ever....

You're forgetting when he became "plant" Black Tom. Don't ask me how it happened, but when he appearead in Generation X #25, he was a cool, evil sunovab*tch.

http://image.comicvine.com/uploads/item/5000/4568/87982-black-tom-cassidy_400.gif

He made bark husks of the Gen X kids to make Sean think he'd captured them when in fact he'd sequestered them away in some bubble at the bottom of the sea. Yeah, I don't know what was going on there, but he made Sean and Emma attack each other by controlling them.
