About time Cuckoos joined an x-team

I love, love, love the Cuckoos and think they should be put on an x-team already.

After all they are powerful, very intellegent and very interesting characters that deserve to be expanded upon by a good writter and not just in a crappy mini-series that missed the point of the characters.

Perhaps Brubaker could write them or Carey could put them in a team after Legacy finishes.

Well I don't know if they should be on a team but it does make me wonder where they went after Cyclops shut down the Institute. Emma Frost is their only family, and she went off to the Savage Land and then San Fransisco. Maybe their holed up in a hotel somewhere.

I've been saying this for ages. At least one of them needs to be on a team, if not all three..

I do admit that after Warsong, I lost interest in them a little bit.

They worked well as villains in X-Men Legends 2. Emma Frost could use some good characterization that isn't just her being bitchy. The cuckoos going bad and attacking her would help.

It'll be great if they join the Initiative. They need telepaths there. And each one of the Cuckoos can date the MVPs.

Considering the cover of Uncanny 500 I'm tempted to say they're part of the group Scott sent to San Fransisco. But I also think that cover might be a bit of a red herring.

I mean, they were a lot of fun in the story, but everything conceptually in the story killed them.

I loved the Cuckoos. But until Warsong is retconned, I'm not sure they will be used as anything more than side characters.

To be honest I think turning them into villains would be a bit tacky and would complete what warsong started, turn them into lame 2 bit characters.

I'd rather see a decent writer get his hands on them and see what could be done if they were deconstructed and given a new purpose and direction in the marvel universe.
