Batman #675 delayed

I just noticed that the DC website is now advertising this issue as coming out on April 16. (It was originally solicited for March 26.) I don't know why or if this will subsequently delay the issues that follow.

Tony Daniel, do you have any insight you'd care to share about this? (I know you're a frequent lurker here. ;))

As for whether it'll delay any following issues, so far Batman #676 is now delayed by a week, from April 23 to April 30.

At the moment the storyline is a little bit confusing, so i hoped to get en lighted

Too bad about the delay... I think they are hurting the run. First Kubert and now this. I understand the need for a TOP ARTIST on Batman... but aren't there any that can get a book done on time anymore??? :confused:

Well, Daniel seems to have been able to stay ontop of the stories so far, so I would question whether or not it IS the art.... I don't know.

(I understand delays happen, and I don't actually care much... but these kind of contradictions do bother me.)

Not sure of the delay gang. I'm about done with 676. And yup, when I'm eating or taking a break I go down my list of comic-related sites to see what's up. I've read this forum for a couple of years at least. I'm a fan too, you know.:)

Perhaps it's some warped new marketing stategy...I know it's sounds stupid but some part of me always wondered if some comics are held up some covoluted marketing scheme.

Maybe it spoils something else going on in the DCU. With Grant being at the helm of Final Crisis, it's a possibility.

Looks like it was delayed again! Now 675 (the issue right before RIP) is slated to come out on April 23rd and 676 coming out two weeks later on May 1st. This means it's a few days short of being a full two months between issues.

677 however is still set for it's original solicited release date of the 28th.

Oh, who doesn't. I've got at least three cameras in his house. I got like twelve in Grant Morrison's. Four in the bathroom alone. You should see the things he keeps in his bathtub. :rolleyes:
