So... I heard this ad on the radio for a criminal defense attorney. What struck me as odd at first blush was that his name is "Guy Sharpe", which sounds like he should be a lawyer on a soap opera or a 70s TV show.

But what really made me flinch was when he was billed as "the criminal defense attorney recommended by police and prosecutors alike".

Now... I've had friends who were cops. My uncle was both a cop and an investigator for the prosecutor.

I've never heard of a police officer or prosecutor who didn't want a conviction... and if they didn't want one, they wouldn't pursue one.

Which raises the point: What the HELL kind of endorsement is it to say you're recommended by police and prosecutors?

Is this guy the J-Bolt of criminal defense?

Please please PLEASE pair this guy with Olney! The court transcripts alone would be sooooooo worth it!
