So finally, thank god, the "Good Prince" arc is done with. What a steaming pile of boredom that was, oh my GOD it was terrible, I nearly dropped the series and it's been one of my faves for a while now.
Everything in this new arc is looking great, NO MORE flycatcher PLEASE.
I loved the Good Prince, personally.

I thought the arc was a bit too... fantastical. Flycatcher was given way too much power.

Dammit!
Don't you spoil the trade for me, I've been waiting far too long for this to come out... :(

You've got a point, at no time did I think Fly was in a possition where he might fail. Which really kind of pulls me out of the story.
However, over all Fables is still one of the best books on the Stand, Good Prince wasn't bad.

I never really found myself worrying about him either, but that didn't really pull me out of the story because I found the logic Willingham used to explain them to be fascinating (and the overall logic of how the homelands are set up and arranged). And I love the fact he gives the "defeated" army amnesty on top of it all. The Bluebeard/Khan side plot was pretty cool too. Though maybe the arc was a little long, I still think Fables just keeps getting better with each storyline!

I really liked the arc. It may have been a little long, and conflict-wise I may not have been on the edge of my seat, but I don't really think the arc was supposed to be that way. I thought it was interesting, Fly developed in creative ways.

When did Fables get bad? I thought "The Good Prince" was fantastic.
