And yeah, really hardly any news at all from DC at MegaCon. Not like I was expecting a whole lot, but still. It's, what? Two months, more or less, until San Diego? I'm sure they're keeping most of their cards close to the vest until then.
It was MONTHS ago that I posted some thread on the DCMB about how the lack of Gail news was driving me nuts. And since then, all we've gotten is that DiDio said something about some major WW blockbuster thing in the summer. So, yeah, still pretty much insane.
Is there a "major" convention between now and SD, that would happen after CD is finished? Might be a change to get some real news then.

Yeah, but CD won't be over. And DC #0 won't have shipped. The former seems much more important than the latter, frankly.
But to be honest, until CD is over, I don't expect much else from DC other than "Wait and see." At least when it comes to Final Crisis.
Maybe we will find out Gail's "secret project" at NYCC. That would be so damned cool.

The lack of news was kinda disappointing. From both Marvel and DC. Oh wait we found out Joe Q is leaving NJF at rama for Myspace. Thats a ship that sailed a while ago, a little too late now. :rolleyes:

Actually given that there is only 1 single issue of Countdown left when NYCC takes place i expect HUGE news there ..
also NYCC might be larger then SDCC this year so its the place for huge news.. like last year i felt like there was more huge news at NYCC then SDCC

well, that's silly. spacewise alone, doesn't sdcc have at least twice the space available as nycc? unless you mean 'larger' in terms of scope of new news.

Larger space this year at NYCC ..
In fact they doubled the space from 06 to 07.. and this year its even larger.. :P

because every time there is a large con.. i have to go to CBR, 'Rama and some other sites to piece together all the news..

Edit: well, according to Wiki it is., but I don't think either con uses the whole facility. Or maybe SDCC does, but NYCC does not, yet! ;)

checked out the schedule and there is a "Jobcon" on the first day of this years NYCC....
but thats One day only.. and half that day is just for retailers anyway :P

LaBamba isn't that difficult a song to play (at least on the guitar and ukulele), she can still do something else in her spare time!
Thanks diana_fan for starting this thread, I have been wondering what else she's working on too. By now, most of the rumors (Legion, JLA, Adult Titans, Black Canary solo) seem to have been debunked--and her writing on a BC solo would be big for example, but DC wouldn't really bother to keep it such a big secret.
What else is there? Screenplay for the WW movie? Final Crisis mini-series Tie-In?

Until then, it's our job to wildly speculate and spread false rumors!
(I'm guessing the title will have some combination of Infinite/Countdown/Crisis/Final in it!)

I would say naaaah .. however!
Biweekly Wonder Woman!.. think about it.. Gail can put out at least 3 issues a month.. and with some lead time and 2 art teams.. DADA! no need for a second title..
