Just wondering. I've been totally sucked into it and it's easily one of my favorite comics.
For those that don't know, it's about 12 World War II super-heores that were caught by the Nazi and put into suspended animation. Rescued recently, they have been woken up and it's about their trials in today's world. I think Rockman may be my favorite of the bunch, 'the poor bastard'.

I've been wanting to check that out, actually, since I like the idea of forgotten WWII-era mystery men and mystery women being used in good stories. They're three issues in now, yeah?

Technically 4. Issue 0 had some original Golden Age tales of Rockman, Flaming Mask, and the Phantom Reporter.
I LOVE this book. we finally get to see Black Widow in action

I didn't know there was an issue zero.
But I'm very happy to know I can now read more about The Twelve. :D

I'm reading it, it's not blowing me away but I'm enjoying it. I especially love the sense of unease Weston's art brings to everything.

It was basically some old reprints and some character sketches. It's funny just how murderous heroes used to be :)
And so far it's been fantastic IMO.

Yeah, I've totally fallen for this book too! Couldn't get issue #3 this week though because my LCS didn't get sent any. :(
They better have it in next week or there'll be trouble! :evilangry

I'm already reading a little book called Project Superpowers that's pretty much about the same thing. I don't wanna give Marvel any more money than they deserve, so I think I'll wait until it's in trades before I check it out.

Isn't as much money than they deserve when you buy the good books and don't buy the bad?

Yeah, but I'm compelled to buy Marvel Comics Presents every month even if I hate/don't like very much two of the main stories just because the Hellcat, Ka-Zar, and Cap stories were great, and that book's $3.99. Way more than Marvel deserves from me for it! So, The Twelve will have to wait.
