I'm writing this on March 5, the day Abe #2 was due to come out. Darlene Vogel, the Dark Horse staffer who works directly with our printers, got her advance copy, and before even showing it to me she called the printer and told them to scrap it, because the colors printed so badly. All of this new Hellboy universe related product is enough to warm any fan's heart. With most movie releases we'd get a crummy video game, a box of cereal, and a thousand toys we don't need. With HB II though, we get long sought after items such as the vol 1 library edition, several new yet ostensibly disconnected from ongoing continuity BPRD stories, and the lush list goes on and on.....thankfully. It's going to be a great year!
