100 Bullets Questions

Ok, so I’m pretty sure it’s common knowledge that 100 bullets is one confusing **** of a book, so here are some questions that I came across while reading. I'd appreciate some answers.


– “Sixty tray. All day.” What the hell is this guy talking about?

– Who are these three guys?

- What is happening in this scene (http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6513/picture1kc0.png)? Is this the "Polly", who we learn later on the story (http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/9411/picture2bo8.png) ratted on Emlio?

- I was confused with the beginning of issue #8. Did the Jamaican pay Agent Graves to kill those guys or was he one of the guys killed? If it was the latter, I'm confused why Agent Graves betrayed him...

- Does Agent Graves know Mr. Shepherd is listening to his conversation with Lono in issue #8?

- Is it revealed why Graves sent those guys after Lono? I've read till the 3rd TPB, so if it's revealed later, don't tell me. I just want to know if it is revealed.

- I'm confused as to what happened at the end of issue #11 (http://www.comics.org/details.lasso?id=63304#1). Was the father the murderer or the pimp?

- Who was the guy that broke Mr. Branch's arm? I think it's Lono, but the way Risso drew that sequence, it almost looks like Cole Burns. Is it Lono?

- Why does Agent Graves get Loop Hughes arrested? Again, is the reason revealed later or did I just miss something?

100 Bullets often just crosses to back ground action during the dialoge scenes to either compliment or contrast what is happening.
This is one of those moments.
However, in this case, the guy getting beaten and robbed looks a lot like a character from the creators previous mini-series, Dexter, and is probably an in-joke based on that.

I can't honestly remember, but from the pic you posted, it just looks like the guys are checking out/trying to impress some girls.

Yeah, it's revealed.
(although I thought it was obvious from his first appearance - no one really wants Lono around, he's dangerous).
