Grant Morrison, in an interview at the 'Rama (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=149066), said this:

Still, I’ve worked on a couple of screenplays in the last few years, and it was really great to do something that’s complete in 120 pages – you know, doing monthly comics is like a never-ending Jack Kerouac typewriter roll. You just keep working, throwing ideas out, month after month, and you don’t really get any time to go back and change things or do second drafts.

I'm curious if this is your feeling, too. Or not. Or whatever.

I wish Morrison's Sleepless Knights (http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue268/news.html)screenplay had made it to the screen. It sounded cool when it was announced all those years ago.

Morrison wrote the treatment for Sleepless Knights with producer and fellow Scotsman Susan Montford. The film tells the story of a time-machine experiment that goes wrong, leaving the planet permanently stuck on Halloween. When ghosts and spirits realize they have free rein, a young boy is recruited to an elite ghostbusting squadron called the Sleepless Knights.
