Robert Englund ("A Nightmare on Elm Street") is voicing Vulture, the first super villain to appear in the all-new series "The Spectacular Spider-Man," which premieres Saturday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT on Kids' WB! on The CW.

He'd be a pretty good pick for Live Action Vulture.

That's a really good voice pick. Not so much his Freddy voice, but his normal voice has had a kind of old codger sound to it since the early 80s. Give him a shave, and he'd be a pretty close to a dead ringer for the old man.

Maybe not quite old enough, but it's not like Englund is a stranger to SFX makeup.

That's a pretty inspired choice. I'm not really mad about that Vulture design either.
