With "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" in theatres this summer, creator Mike Mignola is busy expanding the world of his supernatural detective and co. on the comics page. CBR spoke with Mignola about "BPRD: 1946" and "Abe Sapien: The Drowning."

They should just make Mike the " Hellboy Editor " over at Dark Horse. That way, he'll be able to plot and give the overall arc to creators, pick teams and market the book the way he sees it.
But that's just me.

Personally, if Mignola really does scale back his involvement that much, to the point that he's more of an editor than an active writer/artist, I think I'll take the opportunity to bow out. No offense to the other folks helping out, but I read those books for MIGNOLA.

Me too, i wouldnt enjoy Hellboy and his world as much without Mignola.
It already sucks that we lost his amazing art, taking away his writing would too much for me.
