I prefer Laura Martin.

D'Armata's work just comes off too plasticine, to me.

Her work is pretty cool but D'armata makes a good comic great you just have to look at annihilation and the x-men endangered species one-shot to see that:D

Annihilation was colored by Laura Villari, and was indeed pretty darn awesome. Conquest is colored by D'Armata, and I'm really not digging his contribution. All the characters are just too . . . shiny.

Frank D does indeed look shiny, and sometimes just too dark.

I like Laura Villari and Laura Martin -- they're both great.

I think my favorite colorist these days is Val Staples who colors both Criminal and X-Men: First Class. He's got creativity and range...

I'd place both Laura Villari and Laura Martin above D'Armata. I find his colours are often too dark and obscure the artwork. Plus, I find that he often overuses red.

For me its usually Frank D'Armata > or = Laura Martin > Laura Villiari.
