Various aspect of the DCU's rich mythology will come into play during FINAL CRISIS. Which do you imagine will be the biggest?

Supposedly whatever is happening in Countdown is setting up Final Crisis soo... I would say it's the Countdown characters.

I don't think that Countdown, despite the title, has a whole lot to with Final Crisis at all. I can't for the life of me imagine Grant Morrison doinga follow up on Countdown. Pretty much everythng he's ever written has been pretty much entirely self-contained.

I hope it's the New Gods.

Yeah, I'm biased. Wanna fight about it? :p

Considering that Morticoccus, Kamandi, Karate Kid, and Jimmy O. are all involved, I'd have to go with the Great Disaster. The aforementioned are integral to Kirby's Great Disaster.

I'm now pretty certain it's the Great Disaster. All this OMAC/Kamandi/Karate Kid stuff has to be heading somewhere. It isn't the Fourth World, because i'm fairly certain those characters aren't coming back.

Great Disaster and the New Gods. It seems clear enough from what Morrison's said so far

countdown even though the title says final crisis, its counting down to the great disaster, which is totaly different than final crisis.

In the end......everything has to do with the Big Guns in some way. Can't have something called Final Crisis and not have Supes be a big gun in it.

Honestly, the Big Guns are the only thing that would interest me.

I think it'll concern the Fourth World most of all. I think Morrison's platonic New Gods will be sticking around, while their emanations (the New Gods we've always seen) will be gone.

Beyond that, I think that Earth will be ravaged by the Great Disaster and that the Big Guns (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, ect) will become gods themselves. I see Kamandi, the Atomic Knights, and Hercules having very big roles on this wrecked Earth.

Since Libra technically became part of the universe, maybe the Crises ended up making him omnipotent by bonding him with the multiverse.
